Security deposit not refunded on time

My dad was admitted in hospital for a surgery in 1st week of June'17 and discharged after 3 days. The surgery was covered under cashless mediclaim; however, hospital asked me to deposit Rs.10k as security deposit at the time of discharge which was supposed to be refunded once they receive complete bill from Insurance company. The whole payment was settled by the insurance company on 13 July'17 but the hospital kept on denying of having received the payment. Finally, I furnished settlement voucher before them on 2 Feb'18 and they immediately agreed to release the security deposit.

I'm shocked by their pathetic conduct and want to file a consumer case against the Hospital Mgmt. Please guide.

Resignation

Hi I have resigned on 28th Dec 2017 asking relieving with immediate effect stating that i will pay the notice period amount, however i have not received any reply till date after several email and speed post to employer. I have text to HR also and they said they are working on it.
However After so many days i have received mail stating that i am absconded and they can take action against me or i need to complete 1 month notice period. I assume they have send this because 2-3 days ago i sent sms saying that if i will not receive relieving letter then i will send legal notice to them

Please suggest what action i can take against company, and what i should do to take the relieving letter from them.

Legal notice to builder

I want to send a legal notice to the builder for payment of compensation on account of extraordinary delay in possession of flat. I am confused as to whether it can be sent through a lawyer only or I too can send the notice. What will be the effect in both the cases? Which one will be more appropriate?

Dear Devprakash,

I, Sandhya Madam and Ms.Prathima have informed you that, HR cannot certify the income of your mother as we do not have any document to certify your mothers income. You are requested to provide us BPL card in case your mother/father has the same. In absence of the same we would need a letter from municipality certifying the income. We have spoken to ESIC officials they mentioned that we cannot blindly sign this certificate. We would need these documents to sign the letter. We have responsibility as employer to adhere by the rules of ESIC.

Henceforth request you to write email only form your official email id.

Is it mandatory to give copy of "written argument" oppnent?

I appear in person in my case. Last date was fixed for the argument, but the petitioner's Advocate asked for the adjournment stating that he is not ready. I filed the "Written Argument" & supplied a copy to the Opponent also.

My questions are:---

1. Was it right, that Judge Saheb gave an easy adjournment to my opponent just because he was not ready to argue? Was this a valid reason? Though, it was his case.

2. Was it mandatory for me to give copy of "Written Argument" my opponent?

3. Who submits the Argument first in a case, the Petitioner or the Respondent? Is there any rule?

Note:-- I being the Respondent was asked not to stand in my left side before Judge Saheb. There are many unwritten rules of the Court, that is why I am asking subtle questions. Any more suggestions for ppl like me appearing in person would be very much helpful.
