Last time when I went to register a FIR for a cheating case against a woman who had asked me to deposit money in her account for a holiday package in one condition that she would accompany me which she did not, the local cop refused to register FIR and asked me to go to thana for that.
Even though I went to the head quarters and gave a complaint in writing, they accepted it but refused to give any receiving of it or an attested photocopy of it. Even they too refused to register a FIR.
However, later the company offering holiday package refunded my amount with interest and so I ended the matter there only.
Now, few months ago my sister-in-law (brother's wife) and I had a verbal fight for which I called her chusa hua aam and an ugly looking woman, which she really is. She called the cops and the cop without listening to my side of the story and verifying that what is the real matter, grabbed my arm to which I released it by shoving.
Next day not just the local cop came to my house and showed me the FIR which was registered, but he also took me to the local police station and made me wait for 3-4 hours by making me sit there.
Also, when I said that he does not have any evidence that he can take action against me he made a very ridiculous and strange remark. He said that if she complains under IPC section 376 against me then the statement would be enough to arrest me. This was the most ridiculous statement as I had myself mentioned that I called her ugly and chusa hua aam. Even the most perverted man like Shakti Kapoor won't even molest her.
My questions are:
1.) Are there separate laws for men and women in registering FIR where women have the benefit of getting it registered irrespective of evidence they have?
2.) Can the cops be charged for this discriminatory attitude? If yes, then under which section and act?
P.S. I need no replies from the eunuch Sudhir Kumar and her supporters as they reply without any evidence for their statements.
Hi Experts,
I have been continuously residing in my parents house for more than 9 years, solely occupying the entire 1st floor of the house along with my family. My parents n my mom alone after my dad's demise have been residing on the front portion of the Ground floor to which I too had a liberal access 24 × 7 since there is no partition. The rear portion of the Ground floor has been given on rent wherein both me &. my mom have signed jointly as owners in the rental agreement. I have an elder sister ( only other legal heir) not residing in the same city & state. She & her family put up in hotels during their stay / visits n never put up in my house.
After my dad's demise, my mom refused to allow mine or my sister's name to be included in the property & we respected her wish. Even my dad's name hasn't been deleted as then our names would have to be added as legal heirs.
The property is self acquired by my dad. My mom has since moved out to my sister's house in another state & city leaving the entire house to me . Now my query is whether I can register the 1st floor of the house including garage in my name ,since I had been solely enjoying it for more than 9years . It has been verbally decided 10yrs. back that I would be inheriting the upper portion of the house & no other member of the family including my mom had free entry in my portion of the house as it would be locked during my absence.
How to go about with the mutation of the 1st & garage in my name ? Secondly, I have to lease out the rest of the house on Ground floor on rent as owner... sole signstory. Will that 'Rent Agreement' be valid.? Lastly can my sister force my mom to will the house in the name or the 1st Floor, which I have fully furnished & also spent enormous time, effort & money on interior decoration.
Thanks & Regards

Hi,
how can I get non creamy layer certificate as I job less women and my husband refuse help e in that. kindly reply as early as.. Please.
We are leasing a home in Bangalore, after the lease period is over landlord is not returning the money. When went and asked to landlord for the same, he was just playing some blame games and once he threatened my dad with rowdy fellows.
So, we decided to send a legal notice to the landlord and approached a lawyer. We sent a legal notice to the landlord on below basis:
1. Filing a criminal case for threatening.
2. And to return the lease money with the illegally collected rent every month.
On above 2 basis we have sent a legal notice to the landlord and told him to return the money with 15 days.
Lawyer was saying, if in 15 days landlord does not return the money then we can file a case against landlord(which was in legal notice too).
Last 2 days back, my lawyer has changed his mind and he is saying that we cannot take any legal action within 3 months. Lawyer is playing a double game on both sides and taking money from both of parties. So, I would like to change lawyer.
Could someone suggest the procedure to change a lawyer. Case has not gone to the court yet. Just we have sent a legal notice.
If I want to follow up with a new lawyer then should I sent a new legal notice from a new lawyer or can I proceed further on top of old notice only.
Please someone suggest me on this.
Respected Learned Counsel
I had filed an application for heirship certificate under the Bombay Regulation Act A synopsis of the cases is that immovable property left after the deceased and upon the submission of all the documents still tuehe civil judge is insisting on producing the documents pertaining to property. As this is property is situated in ulhasnagar where going back to say 1960 only the tax receipts is there is in the name of the deceased there is no documents of agreement of sale during such period everybody used to occupy the land and the municipal corporation is just collecting the taxes from them and as the land belongs to the municipal corporation only.
My query is that is any legal options available with me in the absence of documents of agreement.
Can the civil judge is authorised to insist on the production of the same despite my repeated statements that during such periods almost all the lands were occupied in the same manner as a proof only municipal tax receipts and electricity bill is there.
is it mandatory to produce such documents to obtain heirship certificate.
please guide me
Hi Experts,
Going anonymous for obvious reasons.
My Parents have two sons and two daughters. I, Mohan is younger son and sohan is elder son. My elder brother, sohan got married in May 2013 and he has two children. My elder brother and his wife always quarrels with my parents and my parents are not able to live peacefully. I do job in another city far away from my parents and I am unmarried. My father also do job in different city around 100 KMS away from our home town where my brother and his wife resides.
Whenever my parents go to village, my elder brother and his wife quarrels with with my parents. Also, they threatening my parents to kill.
In our village, On our ancestor land we have constructed a residential house. In which, Me(mohan) and my father has contributed only. My elder brother has not contributed any single penny.
So, my question is "can my father Disinherit his elder son from the residential house which has been constructed by my father but on ancestrial land" ?
Also, last year, my father had a minor attack, due to this attack, his mental condition is not stable. So, in this case, "can my mother exercise her rights and Disinherit my elder brother from residential house which has been built on ancestrial land".
Thanks in Advance
