Please let me know as to what is 'revalidation of stamp paper or stamp duty' . I understand that if an agreement is on a lesser value of stamp paper than required by law, then it can be revalidated at the time of filing of the suit. How much penalty does it attract? Thanks.

Dear Sir,
I am preparing to start practise in highcourt. I wish to file application against order of acquittals by sessions court. In such cases the state has to file appeal, but in some cases state does not file appeal, so private persons file revision against the order of acquittal. But when state has already filed appeal against order of acquittal, how a private person(aggrieved) join or be a party to such appeal?
Next, when private person has filed revision, can state file appeal for the same matter?
Pls. let me have useful guidance from our expert as I am about to start my hc practice.

Respected Learned Friends , I request all of you to kindly have lookinto the following matter and give a solution.
The land to an extent of 33 Cents out of 250 Cents comprised in a Survey Number was sold out to X in the year 2005 by the original owner of the property.
Subsequently, in the year 2006, the original owners , knowingly or unknowingly , had executed the registered in my client's favour with respect to the entire extent of the said property and my client in turn has executed the registered sale deed in favour of Y . The Patta has also been issued to Y
In the year 2007 ,on coming to know the execution of the Sale deed in favour of X with respect to 33 Cents of the Land by the original owner, my client has purchased the same form X through his registered general power of attorney agent by a registered sale deed .
My the queries are:
1. Is it correct to say that the conveyance that has been passed on to Y is only with respect to the remaining 217 Cents out of 250 Cents ?
2. Is it coreect to say that in respect of the 33 Cents , my client is the owner , in view of the fact that only after the execution of the sale deed in favour of Y , my client has purchased the same ?
3. Is it possible to convey the title with respect to the 33 Cents in favour of Y without further payment of stamp duty , since Y had already paid stamp duty with respect to the entire extent of 250 Cents ? if yes , by which way / mode , it could be done?

Dear Experts, Please resolve my query. I am partner in a partnership firm (unregistered with only two partners) last year, now due to some happenings I retired from the firm and a mutual agreement has been made between us that from the date of my retirement the other partner will take over the business of the firm with current name, goodwill and all debtor and creditors. No dissolution deed has been entered between us as on date. In order to run the business we have given some blank cheques as security cheques for procurement of goods.
Now the continuing partner not making the regular payment to the said party to whom blank chwques were issued. The said party now with a view to recover the money present the blank cheque by filling it with Rs 109000/- and the said cheque was dishonoured. The outstanding as per our accounts is Rs 60000/- to which party has agreed we have written document with the signatures of the party in this regards.
Since I am retired partner and other partner is continuing the firm, now a notice under section 138 (CC marked) comes to me, what will I do in this case.
