Dear experts,
before 2 1/2 years I have gotten married with a girl.(HIndu)
Actually she is residing in her parents home after 3 months of marriage till now. We tried our best to call her here, but she did not come.
Now can I file divorce U/s 13(1)(ib) of HMA(showing desertion)and offer her lumpsum maintenance?
Is this will be a safeguard against 498A?

Sir,
Can I be guided for a petition to be filed in CLB for not honoring a commitment approved by BOD in a meeting by erstwhile GLOBAL TRUST BANK (during its legal existence) later merged with Oriental Bank of Commerce. The proposal was approved by the GTB board and recorded in its minutes book The same was communicated to my clients. OBC now is reluctant to honor the approval which was approved by GTB during its lawful and legal existence.
I want a direction from CLB directing OBC to honor the BOD approval which was done during legal existence of GTB.
Under what sections and provisions the petition is to be filed before the CLB and what are the other prerequisites in this case?
What shall I do to get a single point order for OBC to comply.

Father&mother have died long days ago.They have three married sons& three married daughters.The eldest son,his wife & their only son have died recently.Who will be legal successors of eldest son now?

Being a full time employee of a PSU Bank and a law graduate, can I practice Law during week end holidays / Sundays giving legal advise and counseling to public since Advocate's Act is silent about this aspect? We seen Government Doctors practicing Medicine in their private clinics during the evening hours displaying their Name Board and Designation of their Government Posts? Please advise.

My Father who retired as Senior Civil Surgeon had expired on 22.1.2002. We (all the four children) were brought up since childhood by our step mother since our mother had expired on 12.10.1982. Since my father did not include any nominees for family pension, we had obtained Legal Heir Ship certificate from the competent authorities indicating that our step mother as the second wife of our deceased father. There are no disputes in the family. Can our step mother claim family pension by obtaining succession certificate from the court with arrears from the date of date of our father? We have initiated necessary steps through our lawyer. Please advise.

Facts: I have entered into an Agreement to sell a flat and have received an advance of 30% from the buyer. The agreement stipulates 75 days (from the date of the agreement)for balance money to be received.There is no specific termination clause, no penal provision for delay payment etc.
Query: If the payment is not recd. within 75 days does the agrement becomes void automatically? can I terminate the contract?
