I want to know difference between Tax Invoice & Retail Invoice. And what should I show Retail Invoice details in Sales Tax return. Please let me know for (i) Manufacturing Co. (ii) Service provider Co. or other co.

our company has introduced Biometric attendance system and therefore maintaining attendance and leave records electronically. we want to discontinue the manual muster/records. Please guide me the proceedures as how to obtain the permission for the same under shops & establish ment act. please also provide me the format of letter, address of the BMC authority etc.

Two companies A and B enters into a joint venture agreement to create Company C with certain reponsibilities and rights etc. Is it necessary that the agreement be registered?

I had lot of money in smart card. On back it is written:
1. Validity of card within 6 mths of last recharge.
Going by this its validity expired on 18 May 2010.By I reached on 19 May 2010
It Also mentions:
2. In case of unused, money will be refunded, deducting rs 10/-
Do I have any chance of refund?

my grand mother is living with my uncle. from the past 2months she is not feeling well and she is not able to move. but my aunt is not at all seeing my grand mother and not evening giving proper food to her. near to her house there is our family friend and she told to my mother and her sisters that if we bring my grand mother to her house then she will look after her and give the proper medical attention regularly.
when we discussed this with my aunt she told that if we take our grand mother to our family friend house then she will keep a case under sec 498A. but there is no situation happened to file a case u/s 498A.
as result my grand mother is suffering as my aunt is not looking after her. even she is not giving proper food. and we are unable to keep her in our family friend's house also.
now please tell us what we have to do. what step we have to take.

some assigned land was in the name of my mother. before 3to 4 years ago my uncle forgeredmy mother's signature and sold out the land.
now is there any way to get our land back either by my mother or by me by filing a case.

Respected members,
i have one cousin her name is sarala and she has a daughter. a year ago she was expired due to health problem. before she was going to die she made many insurance policies and many investments. after her death that amount was matured and total amount was received by my cousin husband and their family members. and the total amount and property was kept under the name of my cousin husband and their family members. no amount was deposited on the name of my cousin daughter nor no amount was kept under the guardian ship of my cousin own brothers. now my cousin's husband is going for another marriage. now for the future security of my cousin's daughter what should be done.
please guide us

A CAR WAS SUBMERGED IN WATER DURING THE FLOODS IN MUMBAI IN JULY 2005. THE CAR WAS SENT FOR REPAIRING AND WAS NON WROKABLE EVEN AFTER REPAIRS. THE INSURANCE COMPANY GAVE CLAIM TO THE COMPANY AND TOOK AWAY CAR AS SALVAGE.THE COMPANY HAS BEEN CLAIMING DEPRECIATION ON THE SAID CAR AS IT WAS USED FOR BUSINESS PURPOSE. COMPANY IS A DEALER REGD UNDER MVAT.
WHETHER CLAIM RECEIVED FROM INSURANCE COMPANY IS TAXABLE UNDER MVAT AS ?

Dear experts,
a RP was filed in NCDRC and after two hearings, the case was admitted and the opposite party was sent notice to appear.
the petitioner failed to appear on the hearing date.
the case has been dismissed due to non-presence of the petitioner.
can the petitioner appeal for the same to give him a fair chance as he was unable to appear for the date due to personal problems.
please muster your guidelines
