When ever ther is a fight between individuals with weapons like sticks or rods and one party gets injured,usually the injured would like to file case U/s 307 IPC to harass the other party.How police will decide weather its 307 or 324?any citations?

Can appoint a privat advocate in state case IPC 354).

Hello Kolkata Advocate Friends
One of client received summons from Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Kolkata under Negotiable Instruments Act. Can any one please help me with the procedure and necessary petitions to be filed to defend the case.
1) What kind of memo need to be file or vakalath to be filed?
2) I am a practising advocate in chennai can i appear before the said court or i need to engage the concerned bar persons alone
3) any special rules or regulations to be adhere to defend the case in such court

nearly 30 cents of patta land of a private party is enjoyed by a villagers of dalit community as burial ground for more than 40 years.There is no record to this effect,of course.Now the private party claimed the burial ground as his land and got it fenced and filed a civil suit to restrain entry of dalit villagers.The civil court did not grant ant stay so far.what is the legal position? whether the dalit villagers can claim the burial ground as a right of enjoyment.pl.give rulings if any in support thereof.What is to be done for claiming the burial ground for the dalit villagers.Of course, the dalit villagers are staging struggles urging the Collector to acquire the land for burial ground

I am travelling to USA in a week time. I purchased a flat (Under construction) in Chennai. My native is Namakkal (400km from Chennai). In the construction agreement and sale agreement, I have my Namakkal address. The property is yet to be registered in Chennai. I am going to give Power of Attorney to my Father to proceed with the registration of the Flat. Can I register the Power of Attorney in Namakkal Sub Registor office? or should the power of Attorny be registered in Chennai sub registor office where the property is identified? Please guide me in this.
