Oue entity is in the Project Stage.On account of non-compliance of the terms and conditions of a contract,the Bank Guarantee given by the contractor was invoked by us.Can we reduce this amount from the project cost? The matter is subjudice.

i have a unregistered sale deed of immovable property(on 10 rupee stamp paper) self hand writen and signed by the seller himself on 2/7/2003 ,which states that the seller received the entire amount(amount was not mentioned specificaly) from the purchaser and conveys the owner ship to the purchaser,but in the said deed there were no singature of any witnesses, the purchaser had been trying his best to get it registered in his name ever since but the still now the seller is showing relactunance, now (in the year 2010)i t seems that the seller is not interested, please tell me how the can the purchaser get respite legaly?

A civil case and criminal case is pending against the litigants.
The defendant in a civil case has in the deposition in cross examination admitted that his son has assaulted the owner and injured him and the same has been recorded in the honorable court.
In a criminal case filed against the son of the above defendant under sec 324 IPC, the accused son has denied to have assaulted the owner.
Can the deposition of the father be taken as evidence against the son in the assault as the father has admitted to their son's involvement.

please explain how mesne profits are to be
calculated.
my brother is running a guest house illegally on my propery.the rates of rooms, no of rooms are advertised on the website. he is running the gh from2004 and i have now filed a suit for possession and mesne profits.
how do i canculate profits. what percentage of occupancy should i assume and what expenses i should assume.

Our Company is getting some documents Translated from Chinese Language to English by a Chinese Company. The Services are being rendered in China.
Will this be treated as Fee for TEchnical Services and therefore attract withholding tax u/s 195.

sir,
my wife and me are Cristian persons. we don't have any baby. we want to adopt a 06 months old baby from another Cristian family. parents from both the sides are agree. but the problem is that under which Act/law we submit adoption deed to the sub-registrar?
kindly suggest me the law and what if another family is Hindu?
