My wife left my home after one month of marriage. My father in law made complaint in local police station for her missing. In his complaint he mentioned that her daughter in laws never demanded dowry, never physically or mentally torched her daughter.
My wife lodged a complaint against my parents and me for dowry and harassment in local police station. When local police investigated the matter her charges were found bogus.
After two months my life made complaint in crime against women cell and asked or return of stri dhan and divorce. When we went to crime against women cell for returning the dowry goods she refused to take the dowry goods and asked for 20 lakhs as compensation.
I want to know that is she entitled for compensation she is asking.
Can crime against women cell may register FIR against us under section 498 even we have her father written statement with us?
Please help me and let me know that under which section of IPC I can prevent register
of FIR against me.

Respected Sir/ Madam,
I have filed for Custody of my Son in the Family Court. The Case is Pending for the Respondent Evidence and Cross Examination. To Consider my Evidence and Cross Examination the opposite advocate and the Respondent took 7 months to complete by giving one or the other reasons.Now as she needs to appear to the court for Evidence and Cross She is failing to appear and wasting the time of the Court. Is there any Citations/ Amendments, notice from SC stating that G&W case should be closed by 3 months or 6 Months.It will be of great help from you if any of you can help as mentioned above so that i can produce the papers for faster judgement.

I am 31 years old and father of 2 kids. My son is 6 years old and daughter is 4 years old. My wife is seeking divorce by mutual content. She does not want custody of both the kids. In my case, will the court grant me custody of both of my kids if my wife agrees for it ?...as I have read that mostly girl child custody is given to the mother.

Muslim woman who had not obtained divorce from her previous husband can't claim maintenance from her second husband. Second husband has already wife living with him.

mine is love marriage (8yrs) with 5.5yrs son.
i working woman who is juggling between office home. i stay with my inlaws.. initally everything was very much..ok.. 2-3 yrs post marriage whenever we had fight on petty issues.. my in laws took side of my husband and they all used to fight with me, my husband started abusing me, beating me.now he started humilating me that he married me just because i was earning and he dont want to care, spend money on me just because i m earning...he has started insulting me very badly..i m feeling cheated and deprssed. pls suggest should go ahead with this mariage or end it. but i m worried about my sons future....

sir, i am tortured by my inlaws for not fulfilling their dowry demand in full. they demanded it before marriage but my father was able to pay part on marriage and unable to fullfill remaining amount afterwards. Now if i complain in police about the torture and say that at the time of marriage they demanded dowry and my father gave partly so they are torturing me then will my father be punished for giving dowry at the time of marriage ???/ sir my life is in danger . please help me.

According to muslim law if the parents are divorced or separated to whom the responsibility of the child goes either father or the mother.?
If father at what age the child can be taken.

Sir in filing FIR under 498 1) if i plead for recovery of ornaments from in-laws home then should i give the list of those ornaments also which were given by in-laws to the wife or should we demand only that ornaments which were given to wife and husband by the parents of the wife ?
2)If the husband did the act of torture and physical abuse in the jurisdiction of "A" police station and the in-laws tortured at other place of residence which is under jurisdiction of "B" police station then shall we file FIR against both husband and in-laws in police station "A" or separately against them in "A" and at "B" respectively ?
3) can a delay of about 7-8 months from the last incidence of torture have any adverse impact on the FIR by wife?

Divorce for null and void marriage
I have also filed case for null and void of marriage and hearing has been started. Can crimne against women cell can still register case under 498? Please help me which IPC section can i refer for my favor in crimne against women cell for preventing the case registration under 498.
