My Marriage took place in Chennai in June 2007 and was not registered.
Now I am residing in Mumbai with my family for last 2 years and want to register my marriage in mumbai itself.
Can I register now in Mumbai after 5 years of my marriage?

I have filed petition for mutual consent under sec 28 of the special marriage act. (boy is muslim and girl is hindu). we both are married under the provisions of special marriage act and also have the certificate in respect of that also. now at the time of filing of affidavit court presented a query that can divorce be granted under the special marriage act? I want to know that is there any specific case law in respect of that?? how am i suppose to explain it to the court that it come under the provisions of special marriage act???
urgent help needed.... case laws also..

I would like to as the experts that can i ask judge for mediation,when 498a case i in court but the proceedings not yet started,they just got bail,if i would like
to re-join him,how this mediation helps&how to proceed.can i file RCR after filing 498 case. pls show me the way.

Sir I got married in 2005 and since last 1 year wife is staying at her parents place. i have child of 4 years. We tried all our ways to call her back but she refuses to come back. Recently we approached our Social Samadhan samiti ( Mahajan )where this people had telephoned my wife , father & mother in law to give explanation. They refused to give proper answer and informed that they will go in court and file case against me. In this scenario can this NGO letter or their intimation that we had approached them for solving this issue help me in fighting any false cases against my in laws. Prior to this we had sent legal notice informing my wife to come back . i have heard of RCR but will it help. If they file case now like dowry/mental harrasement can i proove my stand that we are calling her back and we had sent notice of calling her and also approached NGO for solving this issue. Please help so that i can safeguard against any false cases.

sir, me and my wife live saperately since 4 yrs. she had with me only 2 month after our marriage . we had a baby girl 3 years old.she had done sec-125 against me . she is under totaly command of her mother so she had done like that . But i want she and my child .so i had done H.M.P. against her to come with me and live with me. she had done sec-24 against this application.After so many interruptions of our family friends and my lawer she had come with me but she had refuse to withdraw her cases ,though i aggreed because to save my married life and for the future of my child.
But after living with me only 23 days she returned to her house and put Sec- 498 a against me.I was shocked at that time. me and my parents on Bail right now...
In court ,in case of sec-125 in cross-questioning, she had refused to come with me Not even given sure guaranteed to protect her (!!!!!!!).
So i had withdrawmy H.M.P.but her lawer did not agreed to withdraw my application and finally court had ordered 2000/= p.m. from the starting of the case.Sir, she is working as a teacher and getting 5000/=p.m.and after 2 yr. she will get 14000/= p.m.( SHE HAD WRITTEN IN HER STATEMENT IN COURT THAT SHE DIDN'T DO ANY KIND OF JOB, BUT I HAD SUBMITTED PROOF IN COURT ALREADY ... THOUGH SHE REFUSED TO ACCEPT THAT ...) Sir, my salary is Rs.40000/=
1.SIR SUGGEST ME WHAT SHOULD I DO?
2. DURING MY CROSS-QUESTIONING HER LAWER ASKED ME TO SUBMIT MY PANCARD COPY AND MY LAST 3 YR IT RETURN. SIR SHOULD I HAD TO SUBMIT THAT ? SIR, REPLY ME SOON . I M VERY TENCED.
Sir, her lawer asked me during my cross - questening about submitting my pan card copy and IT return.
what should i do?

my wife has put maintenance case against me and she is an agent with co like Mway which gives comm for making new agents and for selling their products.
Can I get the details under RTI from private co to enquire that whether she is reg with them as agent and how much comm she has earned till date.
If yes, then what is the procedure.

i am Akhalaque Ahmed from nagpur. married on 09 may 2011, after few days my wife gone to their parent house for 3 days with my permission. but she is not turn up to come back to my house. we are trying to resolve the matter amicably. but they are rigid in these regards. they suddenly complaint in mahila mandal against me n my family. mahila mandal has not issued any legal notice to us till today but they are keep tourture us to give divorce to my wife. they are always embrassed n harsh me n my faily every 10 - 15 days, my wife wants adivorce from me but i don't want to give divorce to her, i want to live with her, after engagements 19 sept 2010 we are continue in touch on phone meet 3-4 times. she knows my nature and my family well. we have arrange a meeting with them and made a divorce deed by way of khula in front of their advocate in presence of mahila mandal. they want money against jehaz articles. so we agree for that also and make a seetlement on 2.50 lacs. we have make certain condition in these deed we will not paid any future maintance. but due to mahila mandal we have't sign a divorce deed. from last 3.5 months she is living with their parents. they lodge a complaint in police station for domestic violence, dowery act, 498A etc but not FIR is regestered. we are really worry about these. please guide me how i safe my family n me from these.is these deed is accepted as proof in court if they want for future maintance. plz give reply as early as possible.

how is property divided under hindu law?suppose there is a flat measuring more or less 1000 sq ft to be divided among 4 receipients,2 bothers and 2 sisters(all hindus)?

Abetment to sucide and divorce
I am married for past 8 months and i don't like my wife. I married because of my family preassure. I like somebody else and i am still in touch with other girl and my wife knows about it. She says she cant give me divorce and only way out for her is killing herself.
My questions are:
1. what is the way out for me?
2. In extreme case if she does some thing (like killing herself), how will it effect me and my family from legal point of view, if her mother files a police case.
Kindly help.
