Respected Expert Advisors,
Me and my girl friend got married under the Special Marriage Act, as she is Hindu and I am Muslim. We got married on last friday, and now we plan to live together. What are the hurdles we might face? Please make us aware of them. I had advises from our well wishers that even before girl comes with you, we should go together to the police station in her area and file an application stating that we got married and that now she wants to live with me, and we might face resistance from her parents and the same has to be done from my side too in my areas police station. And we have also been advised too send the copy of the same applications too DCP, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, and The Delhi High Court.
Please suggest the steps we should do. Should we go to someother place for few weeks?
Will police can take action against us? Do i need to take the assitance of a lawyer to file applications in the above mentioned places? If so, can you refer someone from South Delhi.

I gave complaint about harrasment and dowry in women police station. They gave me CSR and askd me to go home. Nothing happened after that. But in CSR they didnt mention about dowry. They have written only harrasment.
What is the next procedure? What will happend after that ?

I am legally divorced and I have a 19 months old daughter and she is presently staying with her mother. Initially I agreed to in staying my daughter with her mother. But my ex wife is planning to get married. Now I am worried about my daughters future and want to take the custody of my daughter. But presently I am in Gulf and my daughter is in India.
Would anybody advise me how can I fight for legal custody of my daughter, staying in Gulf. What is the possibility of obtaining the custody.

I am a lady whose marriage will be N&V u/s 11. The boy is not giving my articles (stridhan) back to me.
1) Whether I can ask for it in family court or in other court where DV is going on.
2) Do I have to do separate application for it or what is the procedure. I had asked in petitions but he is not giving. I want under court proceedings.
3) Can court declare Null without giving me my streedhan and without my consent.
4) What are the chances I will get it back

My wife has filed case of Domestic Violence u/s 18,19,20 and 22 of PWDVA 2005 and also filed an affadvit u/s 23(2) of PWDVA for expatre order.
In the main application she has claimed that she doesn't do any work and doesn't know any work where as she is doing work/business and I have proof to prove the same.
The case is on for discussion for Interim Maintenance
My main question is that whether I can file perjury against my wife or not in this case as she is lying on affadavit u/s 23(2) for the facts stated in mail application of Domestic Violence.
Can I file perjury now ....

In a case a father dies and before partition his only also dies.Can she claim two share?One as a widow in her husband's propertyand second as mother in her deceased son's share?

Me and my wife are staying sperately for last 1 and half year.
we both have a baby girl, despite of several attempt made by me to reunit no use, we tried going to our Samaj to settel the difference again no luck. this samaj is goverment registered samaj and they have given us letter stating the fact and attempts made by them.
she want my parents not to stay with me.
I am earning around 1 lack per month.
but at the same time i have parents who has heart problem and diabetic.
Also i have home loan and other expense.
She has gone to court asing for maintaince of 50,000/- K.
in turn i am filed case of CRC on her.
PLease advise as what will the court decide as i am willing to bring her back but she is not willing to come,
Will i face is criminal case against me i.e. 498a after filing the maintiance case, also she is not willing to go for settelment in that case what do i do?

A Sunni man dies, leaving behind Widow, Daughter and Mother. if Widow gets 1/8 (12.50%), Daughter gets 1/2 (50%), Mother gets 1/6 (16.67%), total becomes 79.17%, if the above portions are correct, then pls advise to whom and how the residuary 20.83% would be distributed?
