I am an Indian residing in India. The whereabouts of my husband who is a foreigner is not known for over 26 years. How can I remove his name from my passport, and also go back to using my maiden name in my passport.
Would appreciate your advice in this regard. Thank you!

This is Vikramsinh Mohite from Pune. I request you to urgently advise on the following:
The JMFC Court has given final judgement in DV case granting maintenance from the date of application. I got the copy of judgement on 24th August 2012. I have filed the appeal on 24th Sept 2012. I have not applied for the stay of the order.
However, my lawyer has told me that opposite party has filed recovery proceedings against me for maintenance. I want to know the following:
1. Since I have filed appeal, do i need to file for stay application?
2. If yes, what is the time limit for filing stay application?. It is already more than 30 days.
3. In case the stay is granted by the court, how much do i need to pay?
4. How to counter the recovery proceedings?
Kindly reply asap.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have married orphen Girl in one of the orphen institute(NGOS),recently i had news she is having parents and everyone,last month only i no this fact,at the time of marriage NGOs people didnt say anything and my wife also didnt told me about there parents.
My questione is can i proceed legally regarding this case,can i put case against my wife as well concern NGOs??They all are cheated me,now i am suffering mentally about this issue.

Hi all,
I had 2nd counselling in the family court wherein myself and spouse agreed for mutual consent for interim child access and maintenance. Divorce was filed by my wife. i agreed to pay 3000 p.m. as interim maintenance against access but the counsellor forced me to pay 5000 p.m. and she didnt listen to me. Accordingly, i signed on the interim consent paper due to her pressure. Now I feel that 3000 pm was the appropriate one and not keen to pay 5000 pm. So please guide me what sort of action should be taken to revised the interim maintenance figure ?

Hi, I want to know more information on pre nuptial agreement. I have come to understand that it needs both parties, the boy and girl, to declare their assets and liabilities. For declaring any liability, does it need proof? My friend has borrowed money from his brother many times for his education and other needs before he was 21 years (around 10 lakhs). There is no proof of that (no cheques or bank transfers) but my friends intends to repay all the money back once he starts earning. He is getting married even before he starts earning.
Questions -
1. Can he declare this liability in pre-nuptial agreement so that wife is aware he will use the money he earns to pay back ?
2. If he does not declare it or does not create a pre-nuptial agreement, can wife stop him from paying back claiming that it is both peoples money so he cant spend it ?

Hi, If parents have done disown affidavit/newspaper ad to disown their son, can it be reverted back? Is there a provision to invalidate the disown claim?

Hi, Does a wife have legal rights to define where husband can spend money that is earned by him? If the man wants to spend significant money on parents like buy them house, car, provide for living, etc. Does wife have legal rights to stop him in doing that? Assuming husband already provides necessary money to wife for day to day expenses.

Want to get rid of relationship
Hello, I got married to a girl on 18 feb this year through arya samaj marraige act but after few month we are finding difference in opinion. now it is very dificult for me to live together as she always threaten me she will commit suicide and she also lit up her dress one day and gathered neighbour at home. After all this i dont want to live together so kindly help me in finding the wayout to get rid of this marraige.I am afraid that she can do anything to threaten me so suggest me how to tackle the situation . Should i give written complain in local police station against her activity.
