Nullity of Marriage

Mine was an arranged marriage. After marriage my wife was acting strange & used to get upset very often, cry without reason, make statements like "who wanted this marriage?". I was suffering all this torture alone. then slowly after a few months i got to know from her that during her studies she had a 4 year long affair in which they lived like husband & wife then when it broke, her parents got her married to me. all these things have been hidden from me & my parents. now after knowing all this even my family is very upset & it is very evident that she has mentally not accepted me as her husband. I am feeling cheated. Moreover, now she has left our home taking all jewellery & stuff & given in writing that she doesn't want to live with me.

Now after 15 days, the girls parents are spreading the news that our home environment is not good therefore she has left the house & now they want us to take her back.

We are not willing after all these incidents.

How do I resolve this issue? Can I apply for nullity of marriage? what should be the grounds? How to go about it? Legally where do I stand?

My wife is harassing me

We recently married. My wife is torturing me with her emails and bad mouthing me and my family. I have stopped speaking and sleeping with her and she tortures me whole night by speaking and waking me up. My family have tried to reason with her but she is out to dominate me. Being a gentleman and educated person I have come to conclusion that it is best we separate. I am staying abroad with her. What should I do to separate from this abusive relationship

WE HAD TAKEN LEASE OF A PREMISES FROM JAN'09,NOW THE LESSORS(OWNER)HAD EXPIRED,NOW THEIR FAMILY IS INSISTING TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE LESSORS IN THE NAME OF HIS ELDER SON,AND FOR THAT THEY ARE GIVING US A LETTER SIGNED BY THE DECEASED WIFE AND THE YOUNGER SON AUTHORISING THE TRANSFER.
Please let me know whether this letter is suffcient for the transfer of name in the existing lease agreement or we need to obtain any other documents for the affrosaid change.we are paying the rent by cheque after necessary TDS deduction.
we had also given them six month security deposit during signing of the lease agreement, which was in the name of the decease.

Dowry harassment

Girls marriage has been solemnised as per Hindu Marriage Act. But just after 1 month of her marriage she has been harrassed, tortured by her husband and in-laws. They have stolen her jewellery and kept in their locker. Now they wanted her salary, investments etc. When she and her father refused to fulfill their dowry demands they tortured her more and one day her husband beated her up. So she had to call the police. She has not filed any FIR but an application with police. Then police helped in compromise. But the same harassment continued. Due to this the girl returns back to her parents home. She then filed an application with Women Cell. The husband has filed petition u/s 9 of Hindu Marriage Act with wrong allegations. Girl dont want divorce but dont know what the boy wants. Is there any remedy in law by which a girl can stop her husband to take divorce. Please advice.

Divorce by wife

1) What will create problem to me, if my wife files divorce case against me & I won't attend or reply in any court at all for same? As I don't have sufficient(actually nothing at all) money to get into court matters.

2) What are hazards of not giving divorce from my side?

Please help me here. Many Thanks in advance. Expecting proper guidance.

Divorce

I was forced into a marriage by my father in 2004, stating that both my married sisters would be left by their husbands; and also that he would not pay for my college education.

For the first 3 years she had been living in my parents house, but in a separate room. After completing my graduation, i have been staying separate from my parents, and she has also left my parents' house from last 2 years.

I had tried for mutual divorce. Previously they had agreed, but now they are against it, saying that they will not allow me to marry again; and refusing divorce.

I already have a girl to marry, whom everyone knew about before this marraige; but for whom my family opposed.

I don't have any child from this marriage.
I never wanted to get married.

What are the options and chances of getting a divorce, and the time it may take.

I would be very thankful for the advice.
