Dear Sir/Madam
After two years of marriage my wife was ill treating me and considers me to be good for nothing and insults me in presences of others. Last four years she and my two daughters left me to settle in canada with her parents and brothers and sisters. We were married under special marriage act in dec 1988. In jun 2007 she deserted me. Recently she came to india and stayed with me for 4 days only continuously abusing and quarelling on minor issues and money matters. I have already given her 10 lakhs and gold worth 2 lakhs and she went away saying that she does not intend to keep in contact with me any more. What options are available to me to be away/separated from her legally/mutually.

MY Chriatian son married to a Hindu girl last year and living seperately for last one year. Now my son is working abroad. This week a notice came from family court. As my son is not available in India, the post man refused to handover the notice to me. He informed me that this notice will go back to family court. Please advise what should I do? What will be the reaction from the family court? My son wants to divorce the girl.
Dear all,
It is question, perhaps of law, opinions are invited from the members of the forum...
In a Probate and Succession Proceedings, for grant of Succession Certificate, is it required to pay any Process Fee? This question involves consideration of two points:
1. There is/are initially no Respondent/s, (in a typical case) as the legal heirs are the only lawful claimants.
2. Even if there are objections to the issue of Succession Certificate, they will be impleaded as Respondent/s only after the Paper Publication.
Hence, is it required to pay the Process Fee when there are absolutely no Respondent/s?

I am facing Matrimonial case u/s. 13 (1) (ia) of the HMA, 1955. The case is almost six months old. Except this case there is no any kind of criminal cases / complaints against me including 498a. The petition contains charges such as demanding dowry and harassment for the same. At present my written statement has been filled and awaiting action from opposite side.
Meantime my application for JOB at abroad has been approved and I have been selected for JOB as Muscat. My Passport is ready. Only medical and visa formalities are pending. The bond is two years. Once I go, I can not come back before two years. I have been offered a good amount of salary there. So I don't want to loose opportunity.
I want to ask that can I go to abroad in this situation? If yes it is necessary to take permission of the court? what if permission is not granted?

sir, a DVC case is progressing by my wife on me. court has ordered interim maintenence of 4000/- and passed DV prohibition orders under sec 18 of DV act. sir, my wife has sent a letter to my departmental officer saying that i have said in court that i am suffering from HIV-AIDS (whereas i am not suffering from HIV-AIDS) and thus she has requested for medical documents. learned advocates pls guide me on the following questions pls -
1. what can i do to stop my wife from sending letters to my departmental officer.
2. can i proceed with a defamation case against her? if so then how?
3. if a person is suffering from Hepatitis -B, then can it be made a ground for divorce. if no then can anyone of you, if possible, provide me references to such judgements where Hepatitis-B has been disregarded as an issue for divorce.
