You had stated that you had deposited the cheque amount to the payee's bank account. If you have the deposit receipt/counter foil, evidencing payment of the cheque amount, you can convince the Court.

I am a widow and when my sons were away from Mumbai for office work on 5/3/2011 my belongings kept in a room in a flat were removed by breaking the lock of room and thrown in to gr. floor open space of our society by my relatives. When I went to police station they simply made me wait for 6 hrs. and then refused to register an FIR saying it is a civil matter all due to corruption and bribe from opposite party. Pl. advice on urgent basis how to get a court order for registration of FIR. I have lodged a complaint on website of Mumbai Police and have the complaint no. Regards
How non compoundable case can be compound , if both parties are agree for compromise . i want to know the procedure and officers who can compound non bailable case.

Sir,
1. Whether vague charges can be cited for grounds for filing discharge application in criminal case?
2.Whether half truths in a chargesheet vitiates the criminal proceedings

what is chargesheet bail- Is it different than securing at the time of FIR.
I took bail in my 498A case at the time of FIR and the other accused took AB upto chargesheet.
the charge is submitted and now summons are not served but we checked the date in court so we would appear as dont want any adverse impact for non appearence.
The question is that since my parents are on AB which would not suffice in Trial court so on date of first appearence they would need to apply Regular bail application.
Is it granted or there are chances of rejection. My parents age is 70+ and my married sister. I want a honest opinion please suggest as I dont want my old parents to be arrested.
I have met local lawyers they dont give the clear picture as they think if they say its easy they cant ask more money but its important for me that the bail is granted. I am on regular bail being the main accused.

Few years ago, Mr. X did some thing wrong by mobile.Mobile company awarded ASI(investigating officer) for the arrest . Actually mobile company awarded ASI(investigating officer) to save own skin as they forgot to edit the contents before making it visible to all in public. news came in media and mobile company declared Mr. X culprit.
Mr. X got arrested but got acquitted as complaining party was declared hostile.
Can Mr. X sue the mobile company for defamation ?
How could mobile company award the ASI just for arresting Mr. X when arrested person was never proved guilty ?
