Dear Sir(s)/Madam(s),
If a criminal appeal is filed u/s 378(4) CRPC in a HC is it numbered / called as "CRL.LP"
if the respondent wishes to give his reply to the appeal is he allowed to give it in writing. What will it be called as " Reply to the Appeal" or some other technical name ?
All are requested Pl guide I am a law student and wish to know the technical terms which are not specified in books more often.
Also does it requires to give parawise reply in criminal case also in an appeal like it is under the civil law or the respondent can simply give submissions supporting him without specifically denying the petition parawise like in civil matter?
Thanks in advance

I wish to know that is there any law / section by which we can bind a person causing harasment and mental torture by chasing me, my family members and then abusing every now and then.
Since it is not any phsical harm so I understand Police is also helpless in this case. I had already lodge complaint in written to nearest PS but its was of no use in this case.

Location : Whitefied,Bangalore
Issue : My Sister and Brother-in-law reside in Bangalore. My Brother-in-laws father had gifted a house in Bangalore to my Brother-in-law. Brother-in-laws father is still alive and residing in Kerala. The house which was gifted as part of gift deed is a 2 storied house. There is no conditional clause in the the gift deed.My Brother-in-law in turn prepared a gift deed and gifted the property to his daughter ( who is a minor).
My Brother-in-law has a younger Brother who was occupying the ground floor since the time, when the entire family was staying together. Now due to some issues, differences have cropped up between my Brother-in-law and others in his family ( Brother-in-law's Father and Brother). My Brother-in-law wants to give the ground floor on rent , but his brother is adamant that he may not vacate the house. Also Brother-in-law's brother is known to be a dangerous person. He says he wants that property and will not vacate it.He is a nuisance since he has abandoned his wife and kid and he brings his friends along with him to my Brother-in-laws house and they have liquor and drink everyday.he treats the property as his own where as the property was gifted to my brother-in-law by a gift deed. Also the most important point is that he(Brother-in-law's brother) already has another property in Bangalore which he has rented out and enjoys the rent, staying at my brother in laws property for free.
Also its not an Ancestral property as it was bought by my Brother-in-laws father around 8 yrs back. Can we claim him as a trespasser and file a police complaint, i doubt whether that will work as he will bribe the police and close the case.
Now what are the legal ways we can employ to evict my Brother-in-law's brother out of his house and also please suggest a really genuine legal expert who can help us in this.

If the H.C. prohibits Police to submit the Charge Sheet during the pendency of the case in HC and if Police files the Charge Sheet during pendency of the case, then:
1. Is the Charge Sheet legal or illegal?
2. If illegal, under which section of CrPC?
3. What should Lower Court do with such Charge Sheet? - Return it/Dismiss it/Take cognizance/?
Please help.
Thanks.

Case under section 156
There was a case filed on my friend under section 376/511. How ever, after enquiry police turned doen this case into section 354 as no evidences of section 376 were found. After that the chargesheet was filed in the court under section 354 only. Today was the first date on which my friend appeared. Today we have come to know that the complainent has filed a case under section 156 in the court.
What is actually section 156 and what could be the case and what could be the consequences for it.
