I had applied for Common Admission Test(CAT)2011 for Indian Insstitutes of Management. I belong to lingayat caste n I live in bangalore. I belong to 3B category of backward classes in karnataka, n I also checked the central obc list where I found lingayat to be a part of it. So I applied for CAT through obc category. Results were out on jan 11th, n I've got calls from IIMs for interview based on my marks n category. For attending interview i need to have obc certificate in the official format prescribed by IIMs. So I had been to taluk office to get it sealed, but I was told that I dont belong to the central obc category. I informed them that few sub-castes of lingayat belonged to central obc list. But they had only one answer saying that those sub-castes do not reside in south karnataka.
As everyone knows IIMs are one among the prestigious colleges of the country and one needs enormous amout of effort to make it to those colleges. I've my interviews coming up in a week from now. Can somebody please help me out soon with legal suggestions and solutions that are possible.
Looking forward for advices..

My Second Appeal to SIC(sic)AP is not responding for a long time. What is the next course of action left? Can I submit a complaint to CIC?
PAC headed by Dr Joshy, BJP has also recommended audit of NON-PUBLIC funds held by Armed Forces in the name of Regimental Funds etc. The Report is with the govt of of the day.
CAG has also demanded that the URCs be put to public audit. The whole report on performance audit of CSD and the observations on URCs is in the net.
My request to the Experts:
a)What could a Aam Admi like me can do if Govt of India put that PAC report in the cold storage? From whom I can ask the action taken report on the issue under RTI or any other methods that will work.
b) How can I compel CAG to audit the documents of CSD in respect to issue of Registration Numbers to CDA Est/Staff, DRDO and such other non-entitled entities to run their own URCs for profits without asking the Army Chiefs as do not come under or over the three Services Bosses?

My Statutory Complaint under Army Act 27 to the Govt of India(while in office) has been disposed of by the COAS with partial redressal without referring it to the Govt of India. Army HQ is invoking para 364(k) as the auth for the COAS to dispose of statutory Complaint made under Army Act 27. Para 364(k) talks about procedures in which any sub-ordinate authority is to submit its recommendations to the authority where the complaint is addressed to.Power / auth is not delegated to COAS to dispose of a statutory complaint made by an officer under AA sec 27.
I am now retired but would like to get the complaint redressed fully. What are my options ? To whom should I make a petition?

In Assam, Teacher's Eligibilty Test advertisement Age bar for OBC candidates was 42 years with 5 years age relaxation for them .So many OBC candidates who are above 38 years (which is max. age for General Category candidates) cleared the exam. Now Govt has made advertisement that OBC candidates below 38 years are only eligible for job.
with these facts can successful candidates have any legal remedy as they are not fit for other Govt job due to their age?Aged candidates are too frustrated and they are unemplyed yet brilliant students.
