Applicability of rti provision to banks

Good Morning Experts

According to section 24 read with 27 of Central Act No 22 of 2005 of RTI Act, 2005, the nodal ministry of Government of India have notified certain security organisations established by Central Government. On perusal Second Schedule, the nodal ministry have notified banking institutions and as such it is requested to indicate whether the banking institutions can/may invoke any clause(s)/section(s) of Central Act of RTI in the absence of publication of gazette notification by the nodal ministry duly granting exemptions to the banking institutions. It is also not clear whether the banks have been exempted subsequently as required under relevant act in question

Use "right to reject" during the forthcoming general election in 2014

Under present circumstances, it has become very necessary to allow the Election Commission to use "RIGHT TO REJECT" during the forthcoming General Election in 2014. We know that an electoral reform is one way to achieve this but majority of MP are not inclined to support it for personnel reasons.

Now we have to explore alternatives ways to direct the EC to use "RIGHT TO REJECT" during the forthcoming General Election in 2014.

May I request the eminent layers to suggest various ways and a best strategy to follow to achieve our aim to use "RIGHT TO REJECT" during the forthcoming General Election in 2014?

Consumer dispute

State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission rejected the plea on ground of limitation without speaking order. NCDRC found it arbitrary and send to SCDRC for afresh adjudication. SCDRC rejected again on ground of limitation with a speaking order that the petitioner approached to Insurance Ombudsmen and IRDA for adjudication but having no fruit, appeared before SCDRC. NOW can Writ is maintainable in this case in High Court? AND/OR is there any judgement which shows the condone in similar case ?
