Hi
I am an Asst Prof of Laws
My query:
There are two parties A and B. A allegely owe Rs1 lakh to B. However A denies. Now, police is pressurising A to give Rs 1 lakh to B. Now this is essentially a civil matter. How can police interfere in it? Secondly, what is the remedy? At which platform, complaint can be filed against police?

Sir I m 25 year old gal n staying In Vadodara n I have 1.5year old child.I have completed 3 years of my marriage.
But staying here has become suffocation my family members don't respect me neither they allow me to do any kind of activities which I like eg I want to learn driving swimming etc they say yes but never takes initiative n neither allowing me to do job. I give them do all work whatever they want but.no response from their side n from my husband too. I m.very very depressed as I feel alone all time n tried to attempt suicide too. Every time I let go but no I think this is heights as being a gal doesn't means we can't enjoy our life also only men's have right to do. I want to knw on what basis I should plan for divorce n one thing my patents stay in Mumbai so if I plan for divorce then my case would be carried out where ?? In Vadodara or Mumbai??plz giv me some counselling

ld friends my query is related to stamp act,
about three years back experts answered a question that in any transaction usage of non judicial paper stands in the name of claimant?
the answer isno . and discussed case law.
a supreme court decison answer the query that it is not mandatory the non judicial paper stands in the name of claimant.if any body knows the citation pleasae inform me .

Sir is plaintiff legally bound to be represented by his counsel in a civil suit or he can represent himself as a party in person

I have been married 2 and a half years now.
My husband is an Alcoholic and is not ready to quit drinking.
He starts drinking from morning 6 and most of the time he is not in his senses. On the other side his parents are abusive, they harass me using absurd language.
I have been taking him to many psychiatrists and had even taken him to a de-addiction center for him to come out of this.. But all in vain.
Due to his drinking habits and his parents rude behavior towards me, I have been going through a very stressful life.
I am sick of this relation and would like to get rid of it.
Not sure If I can claim divorce on the basis of his alcoholism?
Please advice.

In 2012, I requested leave for study. Request denied. Leave availed on MC from competent authority. For availing leave, i was suspended as soon as leave availed and revoked within 34 days.
After study of four (UPSC Mains preparation), I joined and later unsuccessful. In 2014, i was given Rule 14 charge sheet as unauthorised absent for 4 months.
The case taken as proved. Now dismissed.
1.Department rules says suspension for unauthoried absent should not be to save exchequer and for continuous unauthoried absent romoval should be the maximum punishment; but I dismissed to disqualify for other govt employment.
My appeal yet to be replied for the last three months. What should i do?

Ill drafted plaint, want to amend the plaint , what can be added? ancestral property
stage of case hearing
1.Hindu law
2. Ancestral property, without partition to all family members, property was just partitioned in the name of male legal heirs. this was not mentioned in the original plaint.
3. Father of plaintiff has sold some part of the land, without knowledge of his children's.
4. children's have filed the suit against father in the year 2010, but in the plaint only two defendants(father of plaintiff and the person who purchased the property) were listed.
now i want to add, all the brothers of defendant no.1's in the plaint as defendants.
5. father of plaintiff illegally married, without giving divorce to first wife, this was not mentioned in the plaint
4.Ancestral property : In the main plaint not stated that the property belongs to great grand father, it was stated that the property belong to grand father.
5. can mother of plaintiff be added as plaintiff, asking property share from his husband share.
6. mother of plaintiff has filed a criminal case against his husband in the year 2013 with all required proofs,illegal marriage.
can i add this in the amendment paint, as this shows the behavior of father(D1) towards his children's and wife.
7. in prayer it was stated to cancel the sale deed and partition the ancestral property in equal share among d1 and p1 & p2
now i want to state to cancel the all sale deeds and partition the ancestral property in equal share among family members (i.e. legal heirs)
8. main plaint was filed under section 26, order VII , rule 1, c.p.c
9. now in amendment paint
order VI, rule 17 read with order 1 rule 3 and section 151 of c.p.c 1908
10. please guide me, this is my first case
