Dear Sir,
My friend is working in a PSU. He has two brothers working as Govt. servants. His father is a retired teacher drawing a pension of Rs. 10500.00 per month. Earlier his father was residing with him. Recently his father started living separately with an old lady claiming that he got married to that lady. Now his father has claimed maintenance charge from my friend stating that he is unable to maintain his daily cost of living including medical expenses with that pension amount. In this regard it is to be mentioned here that my friend’s did not claim maintenance charge from his other two sons. My friend has requested his father to stay with him and take medical facility from the PSU as his father is entitled to get medical facility from the PSU. But his father refused the same.
My query is that in this situation can my friend’s father claim the maintenance charge from my friend only?
If yes/no, why? If yes, then how much as my friend’s annual income (Cost to company) is 15 lakh per month.
Regards,
Swapan

My father inherits properties both from his mother's and father's side. He is trying to sell the land he inherited from his mother's side. I do not want him to sell the land. Is there any legal redressal system through which I can stop him. I am an adult and working. He is doing all this because I am getting married against his wishes to a girl I know for past 7 years. This property he is trying to sell is in Patna.

Hello Experts,
I have a query regarding the Validity of GPA.
A suit has been instituted for Eviction of the Tenant on 04.06.2014, and as the Plaintiff was an old man suffering with age old aliments, he has given GPA in favor of his Wife in respect to the Suit Schedule Property to appoint Advocates and deal with the case in getting it clear from all sorts of litigation and also to attend courts, file suits, and attend all the revenue offices in respect to the suit schedule property.
Now after institution of the suit for eviction by the GPA holder the Plaintiff died intestate in the month of September 2014 leaving behind his wife and son as the legal heirs, but the same was not intimated to the court and no LR petition has been filed till date or even the death certificate of the Plaintiff has not been filed in the court (because she has instituted the suit) and the GPA holder is still fighting the case as she is the GPA and moreover she is the wife of the Plaintiff and on the last date the GPA (wife) has filed her Chief Affidavit for her Chief Examination.
Now the point is:
1. Is the GPA valid even after the death of the Executant?
2. Does the wife has the right to continue the suit as she is on the record and as she has instituted the suit and apart from being GPA she is also the wife?
please give me suggestion and any citations if any.
Thank You.

A
Sir my son made a sell agreement for his land on security basis and borrowed loan from illegal Savkar. On the other hand this Sawakar filed a civil suit on this agreement for his selldeed. My son also lodged a complaint in District Registrar court against this illegal Savkar. And submitted all possible proofs against this. Now today after 4 years of lengthy hearing , this Registrar is asking our lawyer to show the ruling that "whether this registrar can decide this case, if suit for property is in progress in the civil court." Pl guide me early for tomorrow's date . Maharashtra Savkari act 2014 may be referred.& the powers given to the district Registrar cooperative in case of farmers Savkari cases.
