Is an advocate entitled to a single domestic electricity connection for office and residence rather than commercial connection. I being an advocate have commercial connection which are used at my office n residence. Since I don't sit in office at all due to busy in court n other legal works , I want to convert from commercial to domestic electricity connection. Please define procedure. is there any case laws in this matter. In which proper court I should filing an application against electric department.

Hi, there is tenant who is staying since 10 yrs. He paid rent properly for 10yrs and since 1.5yrs, he is not paying rent nor he is vacating the home. He is infact scaring us telling he will complain on us that we are torturing him to vacate also he is telling he will give false complain to police and make your miserable. Now we are very frustrated and tensed, as nobody before him has done anything like this to us. We trusted him soo much as he had paid rent properly for 10yrs, but now he is playing around and saying I know rent laws and how to tackle in court, tht we can't do anything to him. Can anyone please help us from how to come out of this misery.

I had filed a money suit in 2012 & in meantime, the court issued several notices & summons but the other party did not replied to any of it.
As a result, my advocate requested for a ex-parte order.
Today, he required from me that I need to prove by submission i.e. at the time of diposition.
So, my question is that does In dian Law requires anything to be proven even in a case of ex-parte order??

I have filed an appeal against the order of the Estate Officer under the Public Premises Act for recovery of damages for unauthorised occupation of a govt quarter. Notice of appeal has been issued to EO. The appellate court has not granted me stay. Can EO execute his order in such circumstances or he shall have to wait for outcome of appeal

Civil suit regarding property was filed by my brother on the basis of false/fake affidavit which I never signed. The property was devolved upon all equal shares as per mutation duly registered in Sub Registrar. Now case have come to final hearing and my brother knowing that they will loose case they in cross examination asked personal question relating to my first marriage took place nearly 15 years back which was dissolved within 3 months legally. I have never disclosed to my children who have now grown up. Although in cross examination I requested the Judge that Advocate for plaintiff have no right to enter my personal life and have no concern with the present case and Judge told the Advocate to ask relevant questions relating to property matter, but advocate ignored the same. Although I replied that I was engaged and not married further I can't recall and cross examination was partly closed for next hearing. Please advice that can I appeal to Judge that advocate for plaintiff have no right to enter into my privacy life and if they have any grudge they can file separate case. Is there any way I can stop advocate by way of filing complaint before Bar of counsel against advocate for entering into my personal life in openly in court which have no concern with present case.

All arguments finished.
Judge kept my case kept for CAV on 27/09/2016.
Normally how much time in general it takes for final judgment? And when my advocate will come to know about it?

We have 1 acre gairmazarua dhekedar land by Bettiah Maharani.
The land in our position since 120 years.
Mutation is updated.
But Circle office is telling this land is not transferable & after transfer mutation will not done.
What is the fact & what r the rules?

RDF shown in electric bill ,
Since my electric metre installed inside my office that remains close due to me busy in court room and there is no any fixed day of reading taken by meter reader every month, metre reader shows RDF since long time even my metre is working properly. So bill generate only when reading taken at long intervals . several times department cut my connection in non payment and I reconnect the same after depositing RCDC charges of Rs 300/- every time. I request several time to department to Close my RDF and assigned it to actual status along with convert my connection into domestic but no response yet.
Experts...... PLEASE advice WHAT TO DO TO WIN THIS BATTLE.
