Dear Experts,
I engaged one engineer for constructing new house under labour contract, we made agreed as mutual in content typed in white papers, both we singed, unfortunately 85% of work completion & we made morethan 85% of payment to them. engineer stopped the work and not responded us, so that we hired the civil peoples and doing the work on daily wages. Meantime that engineer approached us thru one politician, we said that, he went off the works, so that we will finish the house work first then sit together and whatever payable or receivable both will solve mutually not an issue for me, i told them clearly.
Agreed labour contarct 20L and paid to them 18.60L, meantime engineer need to pay me granite laying charges paid 2l to me.
Now, today, that engineer went police station and made one compliant against me need to pay around 6lacs to him, concerned station SI called me and come for an enquiry,
i suffered lot by that engineers.
what should i do ?
whether its comes under civil or criminal law

Sir,
The property belongs to my mother who died intestate in year 1995. My late mother out of joint income of herself and my father purchased property through bonafide owner and got registered in her name. My sister created a false Will of my mother after her death. I filed partition suit against my sister for equal shares. The alleged Will by my sister was proved false by court. Court passed preliminary decree for partition. Now at the stage of metes and bound my sister's daughter is claiming the entire property on the basis of Will (allged) of 35 years old belonging to her Father's mother (grandmother) property and after wards my sister's son is claiming the same entire property as his father's father (grandfather) property bequeathed by his present father on basis of Will (alleged) of 40 years old and same is transferred and registered on the basis of will (alleged) to Gift Deed in the year 2016. My sister and her children's are claiming the property even though they are aware of the present partition suit filed in the year 1997. The property belongs to my sister's husband and her mother they sold through a registered sale deed to third party and my mother got tranfer through registered sale deed in the year 1979. Kindly let me know whether my partition suit is maintainable as the property in question is self acquired by my mother through registered sale deed from bonafide owner. Please kindly inform the citation of such litigation if possible.

Sir, My name is Pradeep and my dad name is Raj, Sine my name in 10th and 12th marsheet is printed as Pradeep Raj(with Dad name) and name in UG AND PG degree is printed as Pradeep R ( Dad initial only mentioned) . So I have changed my name in gazette as Pradeep Raj to Pradeep R recently. since my dout is people says that I should get affidavit of my name change, first and to publish it, in public newspaper and then I should go for gazette name change. But I have directly applied to gazette office and changed my name With out getting affidavit and publishing in newspaper.. Since I am preparing for Government exams .
1. I like to know weather I want to get affidavit from notary and publish my name change in newspapers? Apart from my gazette changes
2. Is my name change from Pradeep Raj as per (10&12)th to Pradeep R as per ( UG&PG) is a correct format of change or not.
3. I am preparing for government exams so in certificate verification they accept my gazette copy of name change or not.If someother things is there for name change except gazette record mention it ( kindly answer for these doubts & my previous thanks for it)

I made a registered settlement deed of an immovable property against my namein 1994 at Sonarpur ,Soth 24 Parganas,West Bengal with my brother condition is that I made ground floor with the assistance of government loan as I am government employee , after repayment of loan you may built 1st floor and get a right of the right of said floor but now he act misdeed , forcefully closed a common door , always intimidate my family etc.Seeing his activities l apprehend Can he re-registered the same immovable property after 1994 with the change of term and condition in his favor from Register of assurances without my knowledge as well as cancelling the previous registered settlement deed? I am partly handicraft can't move freely that is why I am requesting you plz advice me.Sir though it was posted earlier but it was incompleted , Sorry for inconvenience and ignorance

My grandfather had registered the front portion (25 ft long)of his only 3 floor built home in my mother's name in 1990 by paying appropriate stamp duty and the rest behind this (100 ft) has not been yet devided amongst my father and uncles. Now we want to seperate this front portion from the remaining by bricks but the problem is my uncle who lives behind and doesn't allow us to seperate it forcefully without any legal reason. The only problem is in the third floor, the 1 &2 floor we have blocked by bricks but on the last room of the third floor he even doesn't let us enter which is in my mom's name. The local police is not supporting us and we don't want to go to the civil court becouse of the long term of proccess. How can we possess n seperate it completely. We have all the legal documents.

My father owes three lakhs to a catering contractor. The contractor
pressed and received a blank undated cheque from my father. Now he has received summon under section 138. My father doesn't have intention of cheating the contract but he is unable to arrange for funds now. Kindly guide how to proceed

Name Correction in CBSE Certificates
Hi experts,
I am having a query regarding correction of me and my father name in CBSE Certificates of class 10 and 12.
In CBSE certificates my name is RAVI S/o ANAND SINGH
Where as my correct name is RAVI SHARMA S/o ANAND SHARMA.
I had changed my school after 10.
I did my 10th and 12th in year 2014 and 2016 respectively.
I had contacted my 10th school when I was in that school for such rectification, for which they said it was a clerical error and they will get it rectified. But when I got my 10 marksheet, it was not rectified.
Now since my 10th certificate has my unrectified name, my 12th school took it as it was in 10th certificates.
NOW I am facing many probles and therefore wanted to get them rectified.
I contacted CBSE and they told me that there is a rule to make correction till only one year after the result, otherwise you have to get COURT ORDER DIRECTING CBSE TO MAKE SUCH CORRECTION.
Since now more than 1 year has elapsed from my 10th passing and which was base for my 12 certificates, I want to know from you experts what should be my course of action to have such rectification done.
Quick and professional reply appreciated.
