Notice was duly served upon the defendant in a civil matter. The matter was listed before the court, wherein the defendant did not appear and hence, no written statement order was passed and the suit was transferred to the list of Undefended Suit. The Defendant neither appeared nor appointed an advocate to represent them before the court. However, the defendant failed and neglected to take any steps for more than 9 years. Now at the stage of Judgment, a alleged "sucessor" of the defendant has made an application to to the court to allow him to defend the suit. Kindly let me know if there is any provision governing such a situation and any judgments that might help me in getting the application dismissed. The matter is before the Bombay High Court. Dear Experts,
Whether an Advocate shall appear before the courts for and on behalf of his own father-in-law so as to proceed a suit as against his own brother-in-law?
Is there any bar under the Advocates Act?

Sir/ man, we being resident of Maharashtra , my brother married a gal from "Khairthal " village , alwar district , rajhasthan in 2012. Since 2013 they have seperated and she has filled a case for dowry and domestic violence against her husband and family members . Family members got bail from court in 2013 only , but husband"s bail was rejected by "Kishangarh bans civil court and Jaipur high court " also .
Finally after 4 years the police from kairthal have been able to arrest my brother yesterday from Maharashtra and is taking him to Poloce station in Khairthal and then to court at kishangarh bans
My query is as it's summers , so courts are morning there .
-So will the police present my arrested brother same day in court ?
- will they ask for his custody ?
- will judge give him magistrate custody
- can we apply for bail ?
The girl and her family is ready for compromise and we have already came to an agreement on settlement . Will that help us in court ?
Kindly do suggest us , what shall we do for our best interest . Also if anyone can suggest a good lawyer who can represent us tommorow at kishangarh bans court.

Hi
We have purchase a bs-3 vehicle on 31st mar 2017 and received possession but the dealer has forgotten to apply for temporary registration and now it is not allowed to apply for registration as per supreme court decision.
Dealer has agreed to exchange the vehicle initially and now he is saying that he is not responsible for registration and advising us to use the vehicle without name board which is legally not permitted. Can we file a case against him. I strongly believe that the dealear should not give possession before apllying for registration
Can someone please help me on this

I wish to file a complaint with the consumer forum against a Builder with whom I have booked a flat and have till now paid an amount of about 50 lacs. The total cost of the property is Rs.1.25 Cr. I am not interested in taking possession of the property and want Refund of the amount paid to the Builder since the Project has certain deffeciencies.
Would like to know whether it's the State or the National Commission's jurisdiction? I've been informed that there is a recent amendment in the act which makes it the National Commission's jurisdiction.

So this person, himself as a DC. He is literally torturing us. Because of him. We are unable to receive our salary. 8 months Salary is been due. Last month the salary has came. But this person has stopped the salary. And making us suffer.
The main thing is, our hospital management has some inter politics, they had looted so much of government money. Among them some misunderstanding came. And they initially split up.
So after splitting up, the ex management member has complained all the activities and secrets about the SCAM of the present Management.
So the Collector is being favorable to the ex management member.
But, we are common man. Simple employees. We know nothing about the SCAM. We do our job and go to our homes.
Due to the management fault. We are also suffering. It's not fair. we are struggling alot. It's hard for to survive.
Even the Collector has gave the time to prove us by joining all the patients and make the hospital work. We did as he did. But yesterday went and inform him. He ignores us. It's really painful. All we need is our Salaries.
So, please I want you to help me, about this matter.
