I am a Complainant in a Consumer Case and the hearing is concluded by the District Forum. I will be getting a copy of order soon for compensation etc.
What are the next steps that are required to be taken after the said order in hand.
The Order being ex-parte on account of absence of O.P., will it be my responsibility to serve the order to O.P. When and under what circumstance I will be required to apply for Execution.Pl. guide.

As stated earlier we have filed a regular civil suit against our relatives for a partition and share in a ancestral property and injunction uptill the suit is heard. Since the ralatives have entered into a developement agreement with a builder the builder is one of the defendentin the suit . The court has passed a status quo order to our relatives. The status was passed in Dec 08.
Now since the status quo order is passed and the application for injunction ( NIshani 5 ) is being heared . The builder can not do anything to the property . Now the builder has filed a special civil suit against us to pay the heavy damages and application for attachment of our property since he is incurring heavy losses due to status quo order. We have applied in the district court under rule 24 of cpc to transfer the suits in one court. The district ordered the transfer of both the suits in one court with a instruction to hear the suits and said that both the application for injunction and application for attachment of property be heard in a 6 weeks time?
It is surprising how a time limit can be framed by the dist court. Is there any way out . Can we appeal in high court against this order. ? Or should we wait for the decision of the court on the injunction and application for attachment and then appeal in high court if the oredr goes against us? Your exert decision is required

I had lent some money to a Person in 2005.I had the signed and duly witnessed agreemnet made on stamp paper with me,which had got misplaced. The person expired in Jan'2007 .Recently,I found the original agreement during house cleaning. When I showed it to son of the person and asked for money, his son flatly refused to entertain me.Already 31/2 years have passed. Can I do something about it?
Respected experts,
I am residing in first floor flat in the above mentioned co-operative housing society. There is a leakage in my flat from the bathroom and bedroom of Mrs. Renuka Gosavi who is staying above my flat, her flat no. is 203. Due to leakage the water is slowly seeping in my ceiling and has already damaged my my walls. There is fear of electric short circuit taking place any time in my bathroom which evident from the way my switch board is hanging down. Also the filthy bathroom water is causing a bad stink in our house which has endangered our health.
I have repeatedly asked Mrs. Renuka Gosavi to carry out repairs and plug the leakage. She is ignoring it since last three weeks. This week when I again went to her flat to complain and remind her of the leakage from her flat she asked me to pay off her society dues, which is clearly an attempt to extort money from me. And when I refused to give her any money she approached me in a threatening manner so as to assault me.
Later when I returned back to my flat she came down to my house and again criminally intimidated me to cause more leakage and again threatened my by saying that I will have to face dire consequences if I again complain of the leakage from her flat or inform the police about the same. All these actions of Mrs. Renuka Gosavi was supported by the secretary of our society Mr. Ketan Shah and his wife Mrs. Illaxi Shah, who have a grudge towards us as we have been consistently objecting the overcharging of society maintenance.
Iwould request you please guide me as to the proper legal course. Would police complaint be enough ?
