One of my friend Mr. Jaypal purchased a Life Insurance Policy from LIC in his father’s name. Age of his father was 42 year at the time of Policy. His father has been expired after one month of first premium paid. Jaypal has submitted claim application with all documents desired by LIC on 27.04.2013.
He has been shuttling in the Branch Office but no one is ready to give answer to him regarding his claim.
Can any one advise, what he should do to get his claim easily. If LIC deny to give claim what he should take action to get the claim from LIC and when.
Thanks & regards,

Respected Lawyers,
I am Plaintiff in person have filed a civil Suit for right of way. At the time of ad-interim stage the Defendant opposed my Notice of motion by way of filing false documents and false affidavit. At that time I was not aware of the said evidence to be false and I could not proved my prima-facie case and my ad-interim reliefs were refused by the Hon'ble City Civil Court. My inerim Notice of motion is pending. During the time I found that the evidence and Affidavits filed by the Defendant are totally false. I got certified copy of the evidence and want to file an application under Section 340(1) of CrPC in order to bring the notice of the said fact of purgery before the Hon'ble Court.
But question is under which form the said application to be filed i.e. in the form of- Notice of Motion,Chamber summons or Affidavit? I don't know. I asked various Advocates but this type of application is rarely filed and hence I could not got the exact solution. For Example under Sec.340(1) of CrPC no relief can be prayed and the Court is also not bound to take action under this Section. If I file Affidavit, the Hon'ble Court might ignore the same. If I file N/M or Ch/s and if in case the Court dismiss it I cannot file Appeal. I want to file such form of application so that it will be registered.
Kindly give me a solution that when there is to file the said application in civil Suit under which form the Advocates use to file the Application U/s. 340(1) of CrPC? Whether Notice of Motion, Chamber Summons or any other form. Please give me the solution in order to save my Suit from dismissal as the Hon'ble Court has already believed the false evidence of the Defendant.

can someone please share on how are the proceedings of a review petition done in a HC. i read somewhere that review petitions are heard in the judge's chamber.
Please guide. also is the review petition done only in presence of advocates or with affected parties also (if want to be present).
additionally, can the affected party put forward some points / facts directly to the court if the advocate is not able to explain those ?

In a case, on 17th July, 2013, Plantiff's evidence was fixed for 29th August, 2013. The Plaintiff wants to file evidence in writing.
a) Is there any time limit for filing evidence in writing w.e.f. 17th July, 2013?
b)Can it be filed on 29th August, 2013 also?
c) What other documents are required to be filed with written evidence besides enclosures mentioned in the evidence?

Hi, Im vennila. The question is My father is of Scheduled caste which is mentioned in all his school & office records. But both my parents expired in a fire accident 19 years ago when I was a minor. Before their death we were staying in one of his friend's place because of poverty and while joining us in school his friend has mentioned in our school records as christian. Now I & my brother are working in a State Govt. since 15 & 9 yrs respectively. I knew that we are Hindus but did not know that my father belonged to SC. In all my school records & office it is mentioned as christian. Recently, when we shifted our house, luckily i got a certificate of my father & in that his caste is mentioned as SC. Now, I want to myself to be changed to SC since my father and also my husband is an SC. What are the steps/procedures to be taken for this. Please help me. We have suffered a lot at that stage and we have not availed any benefits so far under SC category. Reply me at the earliest. Thnks.
