We stay in a flat in Chennai which houses 4 families.
One of the flat members in the 1st floor, is hoarding all water and due to this reason, rest of the 3 members are being denied water.
We have common sump, overhead tank and pipeline connection which cannot be de-linked now.
Can you please advise, if I can proceed legally and the procedure involved as initial talks to amicably solve this issue have failed.

A case for rent recovery was filed by the Govt against my late father before the estate officer. Legal heirs filed WS. Department did not however file the WS despite 3 dates. On the 4th date the estate officer adjourned the case sine die as the department failed to file WS. Was estate officer legally correct to do so.

I filed a suit against a private limited company. The said suit was decreed I our favor.subsequently execution petition was filed. In the said execution petition we have asked for arrest of the managing director. My query is can he be arrested are there any case laws in this regard.

my query is that...is there any judgement through which i can send legal notice U/s 138 of N.I. Act even after 30 days had been passed..
if the ans is yes. plz provide the Judgement, Source and grounds of Judgement. I am in dire need of it

is it proper to proceed sale of the JD's landed property for recovery of decreetal amount even if the document of the said landed property(pass) is in the custody of the JD. if it is not, how to proced the sale

hi respected experts i have send a notice on my behalf to my uncle who had earlier sold some part of our family land which is not divided a police case is already filed against him as my father is not mentally fit i had send a notice to my uncle on his behalf that on the remaning land there should be no third party intrest is it necessery to send a notice n should we wait for the reply as told by our laywer to file a civil case n can we try to divide the remaning land cause the land he sold with cheating will take a lot of time cause the case is in the court from 2011 the government lawyer has not called us in the court till now when we ask him he tells ur not requierd now the case ipc are 420,465,466,468,471,477a,34 please guide

I HAD FILED AN APPEAL WITH THE APPELATE AUTHORITY MORE THAN 135 DAYS BACK AGAINST THE ORDER OF THE CHIEF ADMINISTRATER, PUNJAB HOUSING. ALREADY 90 DAYS HAVE PASSED SINCE I APPEARED FOR PERSONAL HEARING. HOWEVER I AM YET TO RECEIVE THE SPEAKING ORDER FROM THE APPELATE AUTHORITY EVEN AFTER 90 DAYS. IN CASE THE DECEISION TAKEN BY THE APPELATE AUTHORITY IS NOT IN MY FAVOUR BY THE APPELATE AUTHORITY THAN ONLY I CAN APPROACH THE HIGH COURT. MY QUESTION IS THAT IS THERE ANY LIMITATION PERIOD FOR THE APPELATE AUTHORITY TO REPLY AND PRONOUNCE THE JUDGEMENT? IS THIS DEVELOPMENT OF NOT PRONOUNCING THE JUDGEMENT BY APPELATE AUTHORITY EVEN AFTER 90 DAYS GOES IN MY FAVOUR IF I APPROACH THE HIGHER COURT? WHAT REMEDIAL MEASURES I CAN ADOPT TO SAFEGUARD MY INTERST? THANKS

I m constructing second story of my house in Himachal Pradesh. As electricity cable is having its route above my house for power supply to Govt school,I gave application to Executive Chief Engineer to change the root of the cable to complete the construction. In stead of changing the route they sent me registered letter to stop work as I can not do construction under electricity cables and can be punished for this under some electricity board law with my responsibility for any loss of life etc.
Despite my many verbal and telephonic requests to SDO and JE nothing is being done dispute of the fact that alternative poles are there to change the root of cables, which are giving supply to Govt. School only and no further electricity distribution is there for any other house.
My construction is not proceeding further.
Kindly, suggest.

Sir/Madam,
I divorced my wife as per Muslim personal law as we are both Muslims. Then sermonised second after divorce. Then my wife submitted an application to my Head of Department that I have violated Service rules & should be punished under Bigamy, so an departmental enquire was constituted were I submitted my report & the enquire officer forwarded that I have divorced my wife & contracted second marriage after divorce.
Now my query is that can my department go for another similar enquiry headed by some other administrative head of my department.

Excess payment by bank
I opened a pension acct as mandatory with my present bank.Dues were calculated and deposited with my acct since 2009. In Jan 2010 my acct was hacked for Rs 90000/-and transferred to accts held in diff branches of the same bank. Bank as well as banking ombudsman claimed the transfers as valid internet transfer and no money was recovered from their known customers.My acct was blocked next day..I was compelled to open a new acct with their branch with internet facility.
Now the bank claim that ahuge some of Rs 15 Lacs in two instalments (against my disability pension dues) have been credited both to the pension acct as well as the new savings acct (No change of pension acct was made).
I have demanded them to produce the documents / calculation sheets for my dues as on date..they are yet to provide me but have blocked my debit cards, my internet acct as well as refusing PRE-MATURE WITHDRAWAL of one of my Term Deposit.
At this stage I am not even in a posn to repay the money of Rs 15 Lacs even if it is true..What are my legal remedies?
