I had applied for400 equity shares in recent ipo of coal india ltd. my application was rejected for the reason unknown to me. while inquiring with the register of the issue, they informed that shri asit c mehta, had not retgistered my name in official bid for nsc and hence my application was rejected. My application was rejected only because of neglience of on the part of asit c mehta, broker, I had applied to sebi for compensation, please guide me in this regards what course of action, i should take .

I practice as a Lawyer, desire to work for LPO. My questions are (1) For an LPO is it necessary to form a Company ? (2) Can a Lawyer registered with state bar council be a director of a Company ?

Dear Contract law experts,
I have a query on conract law. "A" Domestic indian company and "B' Europian parent company of 'A'. 'A' enter in to a contract for supply of material in to an Indian supplier 'C" under singapore contract act as per advice of European parent company. Now due to dispute at later stage whether indian supplier 'C' can go to indian court despite having entered contract with singapore law. Answer is yest under what provision of indian contract act?
My qualification is B.A.LL.B,Diploma in labour law and I am pursuing Masters in Business law.This is my last year please suggest me which field is good for me for practicing as a lawyer.

I had reced. a loan of Rupees 200000 (Two Lacs) by cheque One & Half years ago from one of my frnd, after thats i had paid this money in cash in five to six installments.
till now i dont have any sufficient proof in written thts i had paid to him, now he told me thts he can give me the recept in a plane paper not in a stamp paper.
is this a sufficient proof for me thts i releived from my liability.
