My friends institution watchman was bitten by a cobra and he died on the spot while on duty.
His family members and public heard this and about 400 people gathered before the institution, they did not bury the body but demand Rs.5,00,000/- (five lakh) as the compensation amount for the death.otherwise they take a legal action.
what is the liabilty of my friend in this? What kind of legal action lie against him? Any advice for my friend?

I want to know how the sentence "Will practice law at the Bar" be itnterpreted.
Is it that the person will give an assurance that he will practice law in future
OR
Should he be a practicing Advocate

hello,i am LLM student, last year i.e 2010-2011 i was completed my LLB with 1st class.
now in this year univercity published merit list of LLB student but in that merit list i didnt have my name.
after that i approched concern person they told me reason that i am not completed the course with in term i.e three year and this is true i was failed in 1st LLB. bt the merit list published for the student appeard in acadamic year 2010-2011 so thr is no issue of privious record.
whats the remady is available for me.
is thr any citation available for this....

Hello there, I am a student of B.com (H ) final year. I want to appear for CLAT 2012.I want to pursue my LLB from Faculty of Law. Can somebody help me out on how to prepare for that, Which book i should refer and any other help so that i can get into Faculty of Law.

in tha last accadamic year i was appeard for final year LLB i.e 5th semester at that time i got 51/100 in code of civil procedure paper thn i got revaluate my CPC answersheet and noticed tht in the last question of shortnotes my 1 mark was not counted by chker and for increasing of tht 1 mark i challnged my photocoy of answersheet and after 15 days univercity gives me new result with increasing my marks i.e from 51/100 to 52/100
but in the last i.e 6th semester of LLB i got gud marks and got 1st rank in univercity. but after going throgh the merit list my name was not there. then m approched to concern examiner officer he told that u got revaluate ur answersheet in 5th sem so ur not get 1st rank in univercity.
so whats remdy available for me in such case.....?
is their any supreme court citation available for me?
which steps have to take now...?

my name is ajay kumar. recently i got job in state bank of patiala.my probation period is of 6 months.its a clerical job..but i m doing MBA from GNDU amritsar.its the end of my 3rd semester nd my last semester is pending..i just want to ask you that is there any provision that after i join the bank..can i get "leave without pay" of 6 months during my probation period to complete my last semester..please help me

Interpretation
I have just completed my LLM from Mumbai University. The University has informed me that I have scored higest marks in my subject and I will be getting a Gold medal for that. They have told me to produce a copy of my registration with the Bar council.
The actual condition stipulated is "Will practice law at the Bar".Which means that I need not be a practicing Advocate but I have to give an assurance that I will practice in future.
Is my interpretation correct. Are the University Officials right in there approach. As far a my knowledge goes I think the word "WILL" is expressed for a future tense. Can I argue with them on this issue.
