Learner's Driving Licence was valid upto 15 May 2011.
The clerk of Licensing Authority says," Permanent DL should have been applied before the expiry of Learner's Licence. Now apply for Learner's licence again; and then apply for the Permanent DL."
MV Act is silent on this issue.
Whether the clerk is right?

I would like to know the details (names and designations) of Mahatma Gandhiji's personal staff (secretaries, doctors, typists and other attendants). Like Sri Mahadev Desai, personal secretary 1917-1942, and Sri Pyarelal, 1942-?.

This is regarding my passport application for which I need my birth certificate. I was issued a birth certificate by Municipal Corporation of Nagercoil, Kanniyakumari district, Tamil Nadu. However, there is an error in my mother's name. This is due to name change she has undergone after marriage(Previous name: Kanaga, Present Name: Kanaka). My 10th marks card has my mother's present name. My birth certificate has the previous name. This is causing a problem for my passport application. We have got a gazette notification and deed poll for my mother's name change. The passport officer says since the notification and deed poll(2011) was drawn after the date of my 10th marks card(2005), its not valid proof. He insists that I must change my mother's name in my birth certificate to match the name in my marks card. However, the municipal corporation is refusing to make this change in spite of the proof. Please analyze my situation and let me know if there is a feasible solution as both parties are not willing to accept the proof. It seems like there is no way for me to get a passport. Because of this I have already missed one year of education for overseas studies. At this rate I can never leave the country. What are my options? Should I be filing a law suit against the municipal corporation? Your advice is most needed.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THAT A PERSON BY PROFESSION LAWYER IS WORKING IN A COMPANY AS A LEGAL PERSON WITHOUT INFORMING THE BAR COUNCIL, CAN IT AMOUNTS TO PROFESSIONAL MISCONDUCT OR THERE IS ANY PROVISIONS THAT THE PRACTICING LAWYER SHOULD NOT WORK AS LEGAL EMPLOYEE OF A COMPANY>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Flat Owners / Colony welfare associations formed as per A P Societies Act, are doing services to the residents collecting necessary monthly amount from them towards the expenses of various catagories.
Do they come Consumer Act?
If the elections are not held in time and accounts are not audited yearly, whom to complain?

Dear Sir,
I have purchased a plot in dist place in Maharashtra in Jan 2011 then the same have been registered in my name in Land record office then i gone to Municiple office to register the same in my name but the TAX INSPECTOR told me that last 10 years tax is due on the said plot which I am ready to pay as per the agreement but he had asked me to pay the bribe to give the details of tax and he is giving me a lumsum amount of Rs. 20000/- is reqd to b paid till March 2011.
My question is can i ask him the details of the tax reqd to be paid in details and yearwise? How he calculated the tax yearwise? Which rule of municiple law is applicable while calculating the tax? UNDER RTI 2005. I ll b thank full for the right guidence?

copy of filed petition
Hello Friends,
I went to Court to apply for file copy[set-aside petition for maintenance] wherein i am the party for it.
The section officer said that though I am the party, i cant apply in person and have to apply thorugh the lawyer who filed my petition in the High Court.
Que'n:
i) Is it mandatory that i have to apply only thorugh my advocate.
ii) Any rules/order/cirucuars in this regard that copy application of filed petition must be applied only through advovate.
