Dear Sir,
I have purchased a plot in dist place in Maharashtra in Jan 2011 then the same have been registered in my name in Land record office then i gone to Municiple office to register the same in my name but the TAX INSPECTOR told me that last 10 years tax is due on the said plot which I am ready to pay as per the agreement but he had asked me to pay the bribe to give the details of tax and he is giving me a lumsum amount of Rs. 20000/- is reqd to b paid till March 2011.

My question is can i ask him the details of the tax reqd to be paid in details and yearwise? How he calculated the tax yearwise? Which rule of municiple law is applicable while calculating the tax? UNDER RTI 2005. I ll b thank full for the right guidence?
