as you know there is widespread ignorance about indian legal system...

as you know there is widespread ignorance about indian legal system, lawyers sickly exploit clients ignorance and bully, can anyone please tell me how to increase my knowledge to protect myself, what are the things available to a client in the indian legal system? and what kind of behavior can a client expect from the lawyer? if a lawyer starts arguing can a client be safe in understanding that it is a misconduct, and confront them about it?

Hi

can any one provide me clarification on two queries

1. A public company Director is partner in firm B. The Firm B provides loan to another firm in which a company director is also partner. wheather section 295 of the Companies Act 1956 apply

2. A public company wants to acquire shares of another Pvt Co. under section 395 of companies Act. wheather capital gain is payable in such transfer

as you said it is possible to appear for a prisoner in an examination..is it feasible even it will take a day including a night stay...as the exam is in another city...please tell me the section and article in which it is mentiones...it will be very cooperative on your part

Electricity

the appeal is pending before the Chief Electrical inspector in a case of unauthorised use of electricity and the allegation against me is not an offence as on today because of the amendment made to the rules but it is an offence on the day of the inspection made in my premises? can i take any plea or defence that it is not an offence as on date? can i take any benefit from the newly amended rule?
