If the petitioners have filed for winding up of a respondents company due to the respondents being unable to pay its debs, what are the grounds for defence on the respondents to save themselves?

Hi ,
My query is regarding Personal loan and cc. I have some loans pending in banks like icici and hdfc . i have not paid the loan and has no monies also to pay it . its pending since two years . I have loans on my wife's name and now her passport is expired . will there be any action on her passport reissuance . I don know whether we have any summons pending in any court or not . we are from bangalore and loans are from delhi and bangalore both. please let me know /

Hi,
Due to a small tiff with the housing society secretary, we have stopped receiving the monthly maintenance bills. As a result the managing committee has added my name under the defaulters’ lists. I did not keep any pending bills till date. Payment was always prompt. Since i didn’t receive the bill for last couple of months i have not paid. I sent a registered letter to the society office regarding non-receipt of maintenance bills in the month of October, but no response as yet. I filed a complaint in MHADA but no effect then also. What are my options? Can some good housing society lawyer please advice on my course of action?

I was issued a cheque for Rs 1 lakh in the year 1999,by a person of Kerala state whereas I belong to U.P.The cheque was dishonoured and I filed a case under Instrument of Nogotiable Act at Lucknow.However proceedings were initiated but since I was away from India, my advocate boasted of many actions, however nothing happened and the file was closed.The problem is that my advocate is not forthcoming for information on the subject.
What if I would want to start afresh?
What if the Kerala police would not be handy to execute the court orders of UP.
Kindly suggest.

Sir, is this compulsory to file an application for return of Property before Magistrate through advocate only, whether applicant can do it on his own, if Magistrate compell to appoint an advocate what to do ?
Applicant is well educated and efficiant to argue his application

Hi! I recently brought a coca cola from a shop and it says best before 3 months. Now the date is more than 5 months. I have a bill with the seal of the shop. Can i file a case before the consumer forum against the shop for selling these? what are my chances of winning? how much can i ask as compensation and for what reason? should i send a notice first? pls guide me.. thanks..

We want to register a society for management of a boarding and lodging facility at Chandigarh for the needy patients (from HP) and their attendants visiting Referral hospitals at Chandigarh for treatment. Is it possible to register this society under THE HIMACHAL PRADESH CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT,1968 in HP for ruuning its operation at Chandigarh? Or do we have to register the same under some other Central ACt?
