Sir,
My name is P.V. Saseendran and I was born and bought up in Kerala. In my name “P.V.” is my House/family name and the given name is “Saseendran”. I have not been using any title after my name. If I was using my title, then it should read as “P.V. Saseendran Nair”. In my school records my name was written as “Saseendran P.V.” or “Saseendran Puthiya Veetil”.
Ever since I shifted my residence to Kolkata, about 30 years back, I am known as “P.V. Saseendran” as despite my writing my name as “Saseendran P.V.”, in all correspondence and applications with respect to employment, Bank account opening and/or Post Office accounts, the concerned offices (whether it was employer, Bank or Post Office) invariably written my name as “P.V. Saseendran” in all records.
In my application for allotment of PAN card, I had given my name as “SASEENDRAN PUTHIYA VEETIL” and requested to mention the name in the card as “P.V. SASEENDRAN” and accordingly, it was issued as “P.V. SASEENDRAN”.
Now I have shifted my residence to a new premises and requested through NSDL to note my change of address in the PAN card and to issue a new card in my name as “P.V. SASEENDRAN”.
My application was rejected by NSDL saying that my name does not tallying with the address proof provided with the application. As indicated above, all my records are in the name of “P.V. Saseendran” only. My Employment, Bank accounts, Post office accounts, insurance, etc. are in the name of “P.V. Saseendran”. I had cited the examples of the some of the well known personalities like Sri K.R. Narayanan (Ex-President), Sri M K Narayanan (West Bengal Governor), etc.
I have also sent a notorised copy of affidavit confirming that “P.V. Saseendran” and “Saseendran P.V.” and “Saseendran Puthiya Veetil” and “Puthiya Veetil Saseendran” are one and same person and that I am known as “P.V. Saseendran”. Still my application was rejected by NSDL.
Can you please guide me as to how I should proceed now.
Thanks,
P.V. Saseendran

someone had invested his money in some market linked insurance fund through some agent, the person is not financially very sound & don't understand English well, he had been informed by his agent that he has to paid the amount in one time, so, he has signed all the papers & handed over rupees 1 lac to that agent and after 1 year, a letter from the insurance company urging him to pay rupees 1 lac as second installment, reached him. finally it is found that the policy was made for investment of rs. 1 lac per year for 3 consecutive years. he is not in a position to invest another 1 lac rupees. then he aproached the company's executive to get the justice, but the company had denied to do any justice with his invested money & also denied to pay back any amount to him.
--is there any hope for him to get back his money?

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I would like to know whether IT Act 2008 is enacted by parliament and has superseded the earlier IT Act 2000.
This is one of the most basic doubt, but nobody whoever I met could give me authentic answer.
Thanks.
