sir, can some one let me know if cases in andhra pradesh high court ( belonging to coastal region ) are moving or not ? or is this telengana issue hampering the cases and making them take more time ?

I have purchased a smallest shop (155 sq ft built up) in a co-op hsg society. Maximum area of shop is 290 sq ft. Society charging common service charges equally irrespective of area of flats & shop. Maintenace charge for flats is Rs.1/-per sq feet, bigger shop it is Rs.2/- per sq feet, whereas for my shop it is Rs.4/- per sq feet. Please note that we are not using any facilities i.e., gardening, security, separate water connection for each shop. Kindly guide me.

I am pained and angiushed to know that FIR has been lodged against an MP from Kerela while he said he was in the know of a Judge being Bribed .
Mr Moily Lambasted the MP saying with such allegations people will loose faith in the Judiciary
Is it not strange :-
(i) One side Our Democracy boasts of declaring , NO ONE IS ABOVE CONSTITUTION. LAW is Supereme .
(ii) SUPPOSE WHAT IF THE MP IS SAYING IS TRUTH . THEN WHAT ? SHOULD NOT THE TRUTH PREVAIL.
(iii) Should he not be called to register a statement before a Magistrate , and if does not do so , proceed with an FIR against him.
TRANSPERENCY IS THE HALLMARK OF DEMOCRACY.
What should the MP do now .
Has the Police called him further for questioning. If NOT , then WHY NOT?
Suppose he was telling a lie , if the Judge does not act against him for maligning his Name then what will happen to FIR.
If the Police has registed a FIR suo muto then on what grounds (is it of maligning a Pillar of Democracy).
There is no case made out in the eyes of Police if Arundhati Roy says J&K was never ( in hearts of the people) a Part of India. This is not considered Anti National.
Suppose tommorrow I go to America and drive my Car on Left Hand Drive and argue that as I am an Indian I must drive left hand and may be pardoned. The same case if an american comes here and drives Right Hand then what.
There are certain Norms , Laws which are made to be followed. You will be booked IF YOU DRIVE RIGHT HAND SIDE IN INDIA AND BOOKED IN US IF DRIVE LEFT HAND IN US.
Different Norms for Different people. Former Chief Justice says do not make my IT returns public under RTI . Can any person on street say it.
It is heartening to note that our Media is doing a remarkable job to unearth Scams.
I require Expert Opinion to enlighten me as being a Layman and am not able to follow.

Thank you very much for your reply. Is there any possibility for me to adopt the child legally? Or legal adoption is possible only in the case of orphans? Also in your reply you have mentioned "she can become Hindu but she cannot adopt your religion" I have not understood it clearly. Is the second 'she' stands for the child?

Pl advise , why is it so ?
In India ,
(i) ULFA outfit , a known Terrorist Organization can get an audience with the PM for talks.
(ii) JKLF can get audience with PM immewdiately.
(iii) Arun Shourie cannot get audience with Cabinet Secy , or PMO for pointing and bringing to notice a Whistleblower in 2G Scam
(iv) RSS cannot get audience with PM for at least hearing them out
(v) The parents of those kidnapped Naval ship in Somalia do not get a hearing
There may be innumerable instances.
PL advise , WHY IS IT SO ?

My query is: why nursing homes are considered in the category of industry and charged electricity, water etc. at those rates?
Government considers medical establishments as hospitals established by government or trusts.
But majority of medical service is given by small establishments owned by single doctor. These are consulting rooms, small nursing homes (10 to 30 beds ), laboratories, diagnostic services.
Small individual setups are not given proper thought.
1. They are owned and managed by a single doctor.
2. This doctor works for 24 hours.
3. The trained staff (nurses, OT assistants, x-ray assistant ) is not available. He trains local persons of 9th,10th, standard. These people vanish suddenly. Doctor has to train new people again. This story repeats again and again.
4. So the doctor has to work single handed and take all stress, risks and blames.
5. He works without any financial security, retirement benefits and security.
6. More than 90% of medical service is given by these small set ups.
7. There is no clear reference about category of these small setups-residential/public/commercial/industrial/agriculture. These small setups are allowed in residential areas. But they are charged as commercial setups.
So he has to purchase infra structure at commercial cost, raise loan at commercial rates and pay taxes and services (water, electricity) commercially. This significantly increases their infrastructural and maintenance cost.
This increases and jeopardizes the cost of the medical setup and cost to patient.
8. Bigger hospitals are categorized as public setups. Bigger hospitals are benefited by low cost land, subsidy, tax benefits, associated nursing colleges/medical colleges etc.
THESE SMALL SETUPS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AS RESIDENTIAL UNITS.

Our company is being revived under an order from the BIFR, confirmed by the AAIFR. Union filed a Writ Pet. in the Hon. Bombay High Court. WP was dismissed. They filed SLP in Hon. Supreme court. After hearing the matter for over ten months, of and on, there is an order for Issue of notice. No mention of stay. Petition is to be finally heard in 6 months. I wish to know: what are the implications of "Issue Notice". Whether 'stay' is automatic with issue notice?
