Government Company Inquiry

I am currently undergoing an inquiry in government sector company. The Presenting Officer and Investigating Officer are refusing to close the witnesses.

I have been advised by my colleagues who have in the past undergone similar proceedings that the PO is required to close the witness so they are not left with an open ended world of alleging more charges later.

However, since I am not a legal expert, I am unable to find a law in the legal system or any act which would support this argument. But every single colleague who has gone through inquiries agrees with my argument that the PO should close the witnesses.

Can anyone please advise me of any law or act which I can cite to prove a compelling argument for a reason for me to ensure that the PO closes his witnesses/arguments?

Can the families of the blast victims sue the govt and police force ???

In wake of the blasts in mumbai...which has become a recurring phenomenon....is there a provision in the constitution wherein the family of the victims can file a suit against the govt and the police force of the city for lapses of security ..??when the govt collect taxes from citizens to provide a safe civil society and fails to do so because of corrupt officials and bureaucrats...does a citizen have any kind of right in this country to book the perpetrators of misdeeds ???

Liability of mediclaim company to preinform various ceilings

Is corporate mediclaim company liable to give me information regarding eligibility ceiling for seperate heads?
I mean financial limits on various heads like medicines,Dr.'fee ,room rent etc. in advance to enable me to select an affordable hospital within my policy limits.
They are telling me to first get the proposal sent by the hospital then they will let them know what is permissible and what is not.I do not think it is fair.
