Hello,
Thanks for taking time to read my query. Sir/Ma'm, I explain my case below-
1)I am married and the property-in-question is that of my in-laws' ancestral property.
2)I stay in the same house with my mother-in-law and my husband
3)I lost my father-in-law early this year
4)The property is registered in the name of my grandfather-in-law who passed away in 1936
5) My grandmother-in-law also passed away in 1947
6)The widow of my father-in-law's elder brother also stays in the same house
7)Her married daughter stays with her family (her husband and 2 children aged 26 and 22) in the same house for over 22 years now.
8)The property papers are missing ever since the death of my father-in-law's elder brother which my mother-in-law presumes to be kept secretly by her "jethani" and her married daughter.
9)This cousin sister-in-law of mine has an elder brother who left the house 6 months after she stepped in with her family because of tensions in the family that both the mother and the daughter created with his wife.
10)I got married only a couple of years back and these 2 females are doing pretty much the same thing with me which they did with their own daughter-in-law/sister-in-law.
11)Our stay is always in tension and it is affecting my health bigtime.
12)Can you please suggest a way out.
Thanks so much for the help in anticipation.

We are a group of about 200 families from Bangalore. A builder/developer advertised sale of plots in the year 2000 and we purchased after obtaining loan from banks. All necessary docs are held viz regd sale deed executed by the landlord, khata certificate, tax paid receipts, plan approval etc.All civic amenities like sanitary, water, street lights, etc have been provided by the BBMP.
In the year 2005 we were told that the property of 29 acres was aquired by the govt.(of which our land is also covered)y for allotment to a society. The land lords contested and lost the case. The supreme court has upheld the high court decision.During all these years the society kept silent and have now demanded from the govt. free posession of the land while the entire area has been sold to various people and dwelling units have come up in large number appx 800 families. The society filed a contempt case and the govt issued eviction notice to all the residents. We have obtained a stay from the KAT against eviction by submitting all the docs we have to prove our ownership. Even the EC till 2006 for the past 30 years has not revealed any txn in the said property. What legal remedies are open for us?. Shall be grateful for your advise.

sir,
We belongs to a joint family but we reside separately since from our marriage. we are working in a govt organisation and both of us are having separate income. we have purchased some land in my husbands native place and constructed one small house there. We have permitted our parent in laws and brother in law to stay in that house. All was going well till my brother inlaw got married. After marriage slowly he started small quarells in the house and situataions became worst due to mis understanding with the family members. After all types of discussions and mediations without any alternate choice my husband filed suite for share in ancister property and declaration for his self acquired property. Now my brother in law is disputing for his share in the self acuired property with false interpretation of joint family. We have not utilised any fund from joint family income. My father in law had sold some of his property during 1992 in the sale deed it is mentioned that reason for selling is to purchase a new land. But we had purchased the land in 1993 and constructed house in 2001. Is there any possibility of clubbing both the self acuired and the ancistor property for partion. Since from 2007 the case is runnig. Can we ask any one of the sistors to put pressure for partition of ancistor property to settle early. Mean while my brother in law is not allowing us to enter in to hte houae which we have constructed. Is ther any provisions in law to go to our house as and when we like without any dispute. Plase advice us the best possible rules favouring our case.

Dear All,
Myself & my younger brother want to build a new home on a property owned by my mother which is a leased property by Pradhikaran, a body in Pimpri Chinchwad, Nidgi, Pune.
We want to take loan from bank & build the same. Since it is in our mother's name, what are the best options to avoid taxation. We want to a 3 floor flat type of structure, with one floor for myself, one for my brother & one for our mother.

We live in Tamilnadu. IS it a MUST to acquire patta for all the lands we own?? Or just the sale deed document in favour of us is enough??
Is patta required only for lands and not houses??
What is the significant of patta??
Thanks

Dear Sir,
I want to know whether any Cooperative Hsg. Society can charge interest on the interest outstanding along with the original amount. i.e.compounding interest? Due to some unprofessional management, we stopped paying maintenance charges to our society. Since then the maintenance charges are being imposed by society on outstanding maintenance charges. Further, the said charges are maintenance amount+ interest + interest on (maintenace amount and earlier interest taken together to calculate new interest). Is is fair? Can my society charge interest this way?? I think it is against the bye laws of housing society. Further,my society is a proposed one.. Kindly advise to take suitable action against the secretary of the society..
