Stamp Act Schedule of which State shall be applicable to the assignment of copyrights of an indian company being taken over by a foreign multi-national company?
(a) the stamp act schedule of the state where the copyright was granted to the owner of the copyright?
or
(b) the stamp act schedule of the state under whose jurisdiction the owner of copyright assigned the copyright to the assignee?

We get one software developed from some private company and in the LOI it was written that this would be a one time licence fee.there was no mention of copyright any where at that time.
now we want to have enhancements/additions to that software from some other company.
is this the infringement of copyright act.and in this case what we can do if we do not want to engage that original person ?.

1.what is the right of hindu women/daughter in partnership property/firm, whear father and son's are partners.Father dier with out will. 2.The partnership firm is with the family members alown,my father had invested a huge amountof funds from sale joint family partnership property with his brothers 3.my sisters/daughter's have issued leagle notice claiming equale rightr in the partnership firm. 4.since my father has blended his saperate income in the partnership firm they clime it as jiont family buiseness.My query is will the daughter get equal rights in partnership firm?

Hi, I have completed my LLb & was working for IL&FS deputed at IBM Blr for 4.5 yrs as admin executive.
I am now moved to Pune & is planning to do a course on IPR. Will this provide me a good career opportunity. I am more interested to work in a corporate Co. or a Law firm.

Fraud on Trade Mark office

pls advise me on the issue.
Is there any provision in Indian Trade Mark law just like US law regarding fraud on trade mark office? Can a registered proprietor held liable under Indian trade mark law for not using the mark within stipulated time (if yes, under what provision). Or if he concede that he is using the mark for all the discretion for which he is registered but actually using on one or some of the descriptions, then what would be consequences. what action would lie on him by Registrar of TM or by any third person.
