Dear All
Please help me with the stamp duty payable in Maharashtra on an instrument for purchase of Engineering Drawings and Technology
Will the stamp duty vary if the purchase is of only Engineering Drawings.
Advise on the following is also solicited
1) Whether service tax is payable (this is purchase (permenant transfer)and not designed for the Purchaser
2) Whether VAT payable on the transaction- both the parties are in Maharashtra
3) Any other taxes and duties payable for such transactions

We have one Rationing distribution shop in our society and wish to have seperate water connection at the cost of society.
Whereas we have provided common toilet bathroom with water connection to all the four shop owners
I would like to request to guide whether we need to provide him seperate connection or not. If yes then underwhich bye-laws and vice versa.

I have a client which is a trust registered under bombay public trusts act.
another foreign NGO is working with this trust for the same cause.
Now this trust intends to purchase a software and give it for use to a volunteer of that foreign N.G.O. for no charges (because the causes are same and they are working hand in hand)
1. Is it ok for the trust ? from trust regualation point of view ?
2. The software will be purchased in India, in Indian currency but will be used abroad, what will be the issues from software point of view.
what paperwork will be required ?

Suppose i am assigining our registered trade mark to be used by one of our group company. Is the agreement required to be registered? Kindly give some detail idea as what to do in this regard in excess of drafting the agreement.

iam from the defence and i am having difficulty in interpreting section 68 of the copyright Act that is penalty for making false statements for the purpose of deceiving or influencing any authority or officer.
tha lanuguage is not clear to me , I shall be obliged to you if you would interpret it for me.
