Hello,
My father had purchased an industrial shed in the year 1991 in Peenya Industrial Area, Bangalore. The land falls under the jurisdiction of Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) The shed was allotted by the KIADB to the seller in the year 1990 who sold it to us in 1991.
Total area of the property is 10,000 sq ft which includes 5,000 sq ft of shed/building and remaining is free space. We wish to sell the property now, however on reading the sale deed we find errors with regards to the total area of the property as only the area of shed/building is mentioned without any mention of the free space. The khata extract clearly shows my fathers name as the owner and the correct area of the property as 10,000 sq ft i.e shed plus free space.
I feel the error in sale deed will create problems while selling the property and hence wish to rectify the errors in the sale deed.
Please suggest as to who should we approach who can handle this issue for us and what is the procedure to get this rectification done. Also the seller from whom we purchased the property is not in our contact any more.
thank you very much and hoping to an answer for my query very soon.

I need to apply for a passport for my mother who is 66 years old. She attended high school in Kerala about 50 years ago. She had misplaced her school documents long ago and never took any action because it was not required. When we went to her old school to get a copy of her records, they say the old records are in a very bad state & they cannot access it. We are told as an alternative - apply for an illiterate certificate & use thumb impression. My mother is literate & has been using her signature in all her bank & other documents. Rather than claim to be illiterate is there any other way we can provide a date-of-birth for passport application. She has a PAN card, ration card, bank statements and my late father was a military officer. Any help or guidance will be really appreciated.

dear sir,
we are a family of four brothers and three sister.
my father expired in the yr 1983, the probate of the will was obtained in 1986, and in the year 1999 the house where we currently live was transferred from my fathers huf to his four sons and my mother, this was done because in the will my father had written that his daughters dont have CLAIM INTREST AND SHARE in his estates in the property(also he had mentioned in the will that he would like to give his 1/6th share in the property to four of his sons). also we had orally partitioned in the year 1999 (we have no papers supporting the same) our house and place where each member would stay though there are no walls supporting the same
now my sisters are threatening to claim their right in the said property because of the amendment in the year 2005, can they do it ?
kindly help as we dont not want them to claim their right
thank you
also note the property in question was given to my father's huf by my grandfather via will
