Is usually central government check the previous private employment details intimes of background verification process.

If you are a private employee, you shall disclose the fact. They do not check, but in the future after your selection, it is a risk in govt. job.

Can't get it can you explain clearly. I am private employee switching to government. Whether government will cross verify the my previous private employment details. Thanks for your response.

Is it not same query as herein above where you had asked for relieving letter from a private company before joining government job ?

What is the context for this query?

To my knowledge, Government Departments do not conduct any background verification, but verify character and antecedents through the Police.
