hi dear members i want your advice:-
my client owns a commercial property in an area but just opposite to that property there is a 80 ft road and there are certain jhuggis on the road which have illegally encroached the road as we as the footpath.
those jhuggis have encroached the footpath and have opened there shops on the foot path itsef..
due to this my clients bussiness is getting affected and the value of his property is diminished.
kindly suggest what relief can i take from the court and how?
i have already sent RTI letters but no proper reply has come.

right advise. You can also complaint at local development authority.

file a formal complaint with the Municipal Authorities.

for RTI applications if no reply has come then approach the appellate authority.

in case no action is taken then you may approach the HC with an appropriate petition.

RTI is not the panacea for all ills.
1st. complain to the Municipality. In the likely event that nothing will be done, move an application under Article 226 before the HC. That will provide U with both the information as well as the remedy.
