sir, my question is which agency have justification if the matter is related is related an employee who was employee of state gov. after leaving his previous state gov job 5 month ago and joined central gov. job . and now he demanding bribe a person whose pending work completion. which is related to his previous state gov job.

CBI can proceed against :-

(i) central/UT govt/PSU/Autonomous body employee
(ii) state govt PSU/Autonomous if jurisdiction is conferred by notification by sate
govt
(iii) any criminal case referred by govt or court.

State vigilance burea can proceed against :-

(i) any employee of state govt deptt/psu.
(ii) any employee of central/UT govt / PSU/Autonomous body osted in the state.
