Am i eligible for compensation

We were supposed to allot land in Rajasthan in 1971 as per the agreement between two states but we were not alloted the land asper the agreement as land was a big hill where farming was not possible and till now it is not possible. Since it was the failure and fraudulent activites by the govt of Rajasthan that the land we supposed to get in 1971, we got the land in 2020.

So my question is am i eligible to file a case against the govt of Rajasthan for the compensation for loss of farming for last 49 years. And we have all the documents that proof that govt of Rajasthan broke the agrement and didnt listen to us after contacting them several time

Filing a prior 60 day notice to the Secretary, Land Department is a prerequisite for filing a case against the government.

It is better if you include in the notice the facts, grounds and relief in detail so as to make the present officers well informed about the nitty-gritty of the matter and persuade them to arrive at a pre-litigation settlement, which in fact is the objective of the notice under Section 80 of the Civil Procedure Code.

Land given in 1971 was barren and was not as per the agreement between state of HP and Rajasthan. Therefore my grandfather did not accept the land and applied no. Of times for re allotment but govt of Rajasthan did not listen. Now after 50 years of long struggle of my grandfather, my father and mine, we got the land only after order given by High court shimla. We fought case for 8 years. There are still 8000 familiar left waiting for justice. This country destroyed us in last 50 years. Now we got the land and now we will fight for loss of income which we loose due to the govt of Rajasthan' s ignorance
