criminal case
I m accuse
I m On bell
Challan has produced on 8 sep
next date is 28 Oct
wish to know what will happen on 28 Oct
Will court ask me anything ? or
public prosecutor or magistrate will ask me like some question ?
or Ask to my councel & starts framing of charges
I m looking new lawyer for trial
Yet I did not find
Till I find prudent lawyer
If more important will not going on 28 Oct then I Will go with former lawyer
I fear what will happen to me in court on 28 Oct I need some time to find prudent lawyer to defend me
Tell me what will happen ?
What will the next step court will take on 28 Oct
though here in my court there is lokdown till 16 oct

After challan, court would ask whether you accept the guilt or plead innocent. In case you plead guilty, court may pronounce sentence after following procedure.
If you plead innocent / not guilty, court would ask prosecution to get the prosecution evidence recorded.

Yes,court will frame charges and you will be asked whether you accept the charges levied against you or denied ( not guilty ) .If you plead not guilty court will give an opportunity to prosecution to lead evidence.

on 28 oct i will say not guilty after saying it
then will the court give next date ? for further proceedings ?
or may i pray to give me next date ?
will public prosecutor also appear on 28 oct .?
or same day court will ask prosecution to evidence ?
for evidence they will have to summon witness so court will stop here & will issue summon ?
does prosecution evidence is necessary for framing of charges ?
& will this is the stage happens before charge framing ?

if public prosecutor will not appear on 28 oct then will i got next date
i understand like i just say not guilty
& then court will not ask me another question
& i will went my home ? ( if p.p. will not appear or weather he will appear ) ?
& further action that is prosecution witness evidence will happen to next date
at least on 28 oct i will have to say just 2 words that is not guilty & will not face anything unpleasant ?
m i right ?
this is my first time to face court & i m very nervous

The Court shall proceed as per Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 which you will have to study through a local prudent lawyer.

You may pray court for next date. Rest depends on court. Normally date is given.

Generally, PP appears. Court may or may not ask any question, depend on circumstances. You can go home after next date is given. Court may ask regarding your Lawyer or would you defend your case yourself?

Lot of time is there, you should get help of some Advocate to overcome your nervousness. During trial, services of Advocate recommended for proper defense.
