Advice for Cheating case.

I have been cheated by the person in Karnataka.He took away 30gm of gold and 30,000/- cash against marriage proposal with my Nice. It happened on 8-1-2011. I don't know his original address, but police asking me to get his address for case registration.
But, I have his Mobile number and Photo. Is it possible to track him with this information? Pl. advice me in this regard.

I wonder how did you finalized engagement with such person without even visiting his house and meeting to his family members?

Anyway, now try to find out his address by way of his address entered with the mobile company.

Give his mobile no. and one set of photo to police and he might be located from mobile records.

SEND A REGISTERED POST WITH A COMPLAINT TO THE CONCERNED POLICE WITH PHOTO AND MOBILE NO.
IF ACTION NOT TAKEN FILE A PETITION TO THE HIGH COURT TO REGISTER THE SAME. YOU WILL GET RELIEFS AND OTHER DETAILS

For registering the case the address is not necessary. Even the name of the person is not necessary. Tell them to record as address not known.
