Adultary

Adultary is defined as "unlawful intercourse with another wife to commit adultary with"
I want to confirm that is adultary by man is done with anothers wife (means married woman) only? or it may be done with not married woman?

Adultery is only when the woman is married. it has no application when the woman is unmarried.

As an advocate do you interpret the term "another wife" or "wife of another man" to be unmarried (wife)? Sec. 497/IPC is quite clear on that. In fact, your own question is also the answer in itself.
