Abetment of suiced - punishment details

Hi,

One of my cousin attempted suicide in 2012 and died leaving a letter naming 10 people in the suicide note.What is the punishment for this.All culprits are roaming freely now.Is there any strong action for this crime.(IPC section 306 act).Please guide and help me.

Why are they roaming free?
Is there no FIR registered against them?
Clarify on this.

Whether any FIR registered against them? If so what action taken by police. If no action taken by police meet higher officials.

FIR registered and case has been booked and they got bail.How long they can be on bail.When punishment will happen.Is there any time limit.What should we do.Can we put any case or suit.

Ans. generally, at time of judgment subject to other conditions of bail.

When punishment will happen
Ans. punishment will be after trail.

Ans. there is no time limit
