Que: Maintenance from the date of Order dated 01-07-2010 (please explain wether i am eligible from 01-08-2010(which is one month from Order) or from this month itself)?

From 1/07/10 i.e. this month itself.

I do agree to Adv. Archana's opinion. It means from the date the order award mentions therein which in presented brief is from 01-07-2010.

I suppose somewhere after the date of order it might also be mentioned that Respondent to deposit maint. Ordered by this Court on or by 7th. or 10th. of each calender month... If not then you are allowed to handover to applicant (wife) under mention in daily order sheet the said interim maint. amount by 10th. of each month which is the Law prevailing.

right from the date of order i.e. 01.07.2010, the meter starts and by 01.08.2010, it completes 1 month and the monthly amounts is due.
