testator's death

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 11 March 2024 This query is : Resolved
how to cancel will after testator's death with all legal heirs ok
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 11 March 2024
There is no question of cancelling the Will.
If the beneficiaries agree to ignore the bequest made in the Will and mutually agree to distribute the properties of the testator among themselves on the mutually agreed terms, then there is no hard and fast rules to enforce the Will.
They can ignore the Will and can decide to dispose the proeprty in the manner decided by them
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 12 March 2024
Agreeing with above views I will add that it is a vague query and no better views can be expressed without facts.

please state the facts.

After the death of the testator, a will cannot be cancelled.
P. Venu (Expert) 13 March 2024
Any suggestions depends as to who are the beneficiaries of the Will. Please post complete facts.
