Wife's harassment after mutual consent 1st motion

Gentlemen

I dont know what to do, After figting for the divorce case filed by me in Tis Hazari court 2 years back and finally coming to the Mutual Consent divorce for a hefty amount, MY Wife is now harassing me for not returning her articles.

In the 1st motion, Our statements have been recorded already in the court that she has taken everything(Stridhan etc) and got 50% of the settlement amount as well.

Now she is saying that she will sign the 2nd motion only once she gets her remaining articles which I dont posesss.

She is basically tortouring us to shell out more money.

Kindly ADVISE WHAT SHALL I DO SINCE SHE HAS BECOME VERY ADAMANT AND THREATENING TO WITHDRAW HER CONSENT?

Please help since I need to get the divorce asap in order to resettle again in LIFE.

When the statements are recorded by the court, now she cannot turn back, obtain the certified copy of the order.

What was her statement? Does it mention that all claims of streedhan, maintenance, past present and future are settled.

Yes Shoneejee She signed on the Affidavit that she has received all the stridhan articles and gave her statement to that effect.
MOU and Affidavit clearly mentioned that all claims of streedhan, maintenance, past present and future are settled.

Still she is harassing, What shall I do now? She has refused to sign the papers for Second Motion now.....

The problem if dispute crops up the mutual divorce simply would not happen. The proof of her false claim may help you in a contested divorce case but not in mutual divorce case.

Dont feel tense. You should not bow to her illegal demands. if she do not come present in the second motion then file divorce petition on the basis of cruelty and her present act and conduct shall definitely help you.
