This will be considered as an act of defamation and punishable under criminal law besides liability to pay huge compensation as per civil law if she files a civil suit also
Instead you may better challenge her false case as per law and get acquitted

Offence u/S 498A mis a criminal offence and could be filed at the place where the alleged offence had taken. If the allegation are false, you need to meet issues on merits.

After the two unfortunate events of suicides by husbands harassed by 498A, the courts have started to take a sympathetic stance towards the plights of husbands. You had better contest the claims. Take advice from practising family court lawyer and if advised you may get the 498A quashed by the High Court, depending on the circumstances of your case.
